Methods, systems and computer program products provide for a Risk Assessment Engine that receives body ambient temperature data captured by a sensor in contact with a person. The Risk Assessment Engine characterizes types of activities performed by the person during a time range associated with the body ambient temperature data. The Risk Assessment Engine determines a risk classification individualized for the person based on respective workloads and the corresponding allocations of work and rest experienced by the person during performance of the characterized types of activities.

Blood flow control devices, systems, and methods

Systems and methods for blood flow control are described herein. In some variations, a blood flow control system may comprise a blood flow control device. The blood flow control device may be placed within a body of a patient and may comprise an expandable member and a sensor. The sensor may be configured to measure at least one of a physiologic condition of the patient and a pressure associated with the expandable member. The blood flow control system may include at least one controller communicably coupled to the sensor to: receive data indicative of at least one of the physiologic condition of the patient and the pressure associated with the expandable member from the sensor, compare the received data with target data, identify at least one error based on the comparison, and in response to identifying the error, inhibit at least one function of the blood flow control system.

System and method for positioning a patient within an x-ray apparatus

Systems and methods for positioning a patient during radiological measurements are provided. A biofeedback signal from the patient is received. While receiving the biofeedback signal from the patient and while the patient is positioned at a first position by the fixture, determining whether the biofeedback signal from the patient is indicative of the patient breathing at rest. Further, in accordance with a determination that the biofeedback signal from the patient is not indicative of the patient breathing at rest, articulating the patient using the fixture from the first position to a second position. In accordance with a determination that the biofeedback signal from the patient at the second position is indicative of the patient breathing at rest, obtaining radiological measurements of the patient with the patient positioned at the second position.

INTRAORAL ELECTRONIC SENSING FOR HEALTH MONITORING

Intraoral electronic sensing for health monitoring is disclosed. Wireless connectivity is provided between a processor and a wireless transmitting device. The wireless transmitting device is embedded in an intraoral sensing interface for use in a person. Sensors are coupled to the wireless transmitting device, wherein the sensors are attached to the intraoral sensing interface. The sensors include a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor to detect cardiac activity, a breathing sensor to detect pulmonary function, an inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor to detect three-dimensional motion, and a temperature sensor to monitor body temperature. Further sensors include an electroencephalogram sensor to detect brain activity. Health data about the person is provided to a receiving device, based on data from one or more of the PPG sensor, the breathing sensor, the IMU sensor, and the temperature sensor. The health data is provided using the wireless connectivity.

Personal health and environmental monitoring device and method

When it comes to monitoring human health, today's consumers are limited to so called “health trackers,” which count steps and calculate calorie burns. Traditional health trackers are only capable of measuring heart rate and are limited to external measurements. These devices are not capable of obtaining the internal body data and do not have access to human fluids. The personal health shield personal cloud case cover (or “health PCCC”) can not only analyze human fluids but also fluids being consumed by the user (food and drinks). The data collected from the fluids is then compared to a cloud or local data base. The results are displayed on a phone, tablet, personal computers, television, or any other device either mounted in the PCCC or connected to the health PCCC.
