METHOD OF MANUFACTURING REMOVABLE DENTURE, REMOVABLE DENTURE, AND REMOVABLE DENTURE MANUFACTURING APPARATUS
Removable denture data of a removable denture is produced, and disk frame data of a disk frame in which the removable denture is accommodated is produced, thereby building the disk frame based on the disk frame data. Next, a resin disk in which artificial teeth are embedded is produced by arranging the artificial teeth in the disk frame and curing a base resin, and a denture base is milled by milling the resin disk based on the removable denture data, thereby manufacturing the removable denture in which a base side of the artificial teeth is embedded in the denture base. As a result, artificial teeth having an excellent aesthetics may be used, it is possible to firmly join the artificial teeth and the denture base to each other, and it is possible to manufacture a removable denture with a favorable restoration accuracy of the artificial teeth.
Method for producing a dental prosthesis with parallel roots of the prosthetic teeth
A method for producing a dental prosthesis, the method including the following steps: affixing several prefabricated prosthetic teeth in a support; producing a prosthetic base according to a virtual model with a CAM method to create tooth sockets that lie parallel to each other; processing the prosthetic teeth basally and adjacent cervically while held in the support in accordance with the virtual model using a CAM method, so that the roots of the prosthetic teeth produced lie parallel to each other when the prosthetic teeth are inserted into the prosthetic base; and, inserting the processed prosthetic teeth together or in groups into the tooth sockets of the prosthetic base and attaching the processed prosthetic teeth in the tooth sockets. Also provided are a dental prosthesis produced by the method and a device for implementing the method.
ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED DENTURE BASE WITH BRACING BODY
The invention relates to additively manufactured dental devices comprised of a denture base and at least one removable bracing body joined at specific locations to the denture base. The invention also relates to methods of using these additively manufactured dental devices in the fabrication of dental prostheses.
DENTAL RESTORATION HOLDING DEVICES, DENTAL RESTORATION HOLDING ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING THE SAME, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Dental restoration holding devices, dental restoration holding assemblies including the same, and associated methods. A dental restoration holding device includes a base portion and a cap portion, and is configured such that the base portion and/or the cap portion engages a flexible support sheet to define a support surface that supports a dental restoration relative to a suction tip. A dental restoration holding assembly for supporting a dental restoration includes the dental restoration holding device in combination with the flexible support sheet and the suction tip. A method of treating a dental restoration includes operatively engaging a flexible support sheet with a dental restoration holding device to define a support surface, placing a dental restoration upon the support surface, engaging a suction tip with the dental restoration holding device, and flowing a treatment fluid through the dental restoration holding device.
Denture as well as method of producing a denture
The invention relates to a denture, made of teeth, in particular prefabricated teeth, and of a denture base made of a gingival material, comprising cavities for teeth in which cavities for the teeth are mounted, in particular attached by bonding, characterized in that the denture base (12) is produced by a CAD/CAM process forming the cavities (20) for the teeth (14), and in that cervical areas (40a) of the teeth (14) extending through the basal surface (16, 18) of the denture base (12) are removed, in particular abraded or milled.
DENTAL DEVICES AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MAKING THE SAME
Dental devices and systems and methods for making dental devices are described herein. In some embodiments, denture base material may be adapted to fit a model of a patient's mouth, and a pre-set arch of denture teeth may be adjusted the model. The pre-set arch may be impressed into the denture base material to create a channel. In some embodiments, the cure may be a partial cure and/or a releasing agent may be used such that the pre-set arch may be removed, if needed for further adjustments, after assessing the fit of the denture device. If the fit is correct, another cure may be performed to finish the denture device. If the fit is incorrect, a new bite registration and/or adjustments to the denture base material and/or pre-set arch of denture teeth may be made.
TRY-IN DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING DENTURE
A try-in device including: a try-in base; and artificial teeth that are arranged on the try-in base, wherein the artificial teeth are commonly-available artificial teeth.
Positioning Method and System for Implant-Supported Dentures
An implant-supported denture placement and alignment system may include a denture apparatus. The denture apparatus may have a denture base and a denture base positioning system. The denture base may comprise an implant guide system and be connectable to implants. In this manner, the denture apparatus may be positioned so that it is mountable to the implants placed according to the implant guide following their placement in a patient's mouth.
Dental Prosthesis Manufacturing Method
Positive models of a prosthesis base or partial prosthesis base are produced additively or generatively in 3D printing using a dental prosthesis manufacturing process. The model is then encapsulated with a curing negative mold production material, in particular plaster. In the next step, following curing of the casting material, the positive model is removed by heat. The negative mold of the base is filled with prosthetic material and is cured. The positive model is subsequently applied to the base and embedded together with it. The positive model of the dental crown is then removed. The resulting free space is filled with tooth material by injection.
METHOD FOR FORMING AND SETTING DENTURE
A method for forming and setting a denture has the following steps: using a stereoscopic scanner to capture a patient's maxillary, mandibular gum shapes to generate stereoscopic maxillary, mandibular gum data and an occlusion record of a patient's maxilla and mandible; using a computer tomography scanner to scan patient's maxilla, mandible shapes to generate tomographic maxilla, mandible data; using a 3D processing device to consolidate the stereoscopic maxillary, mandibular gum data, occlusion record of a patient's maxilla and mandible, tomographic maxilla, mandible data to generate 3D full-tooth data; planning detailed positions and sizes of a upper (lower) prosthesis adapted to set on the patient maxilla (mandible) side, a plurality of upper (lower) fixing elements for fixing the upper (lower) prosthesis through the 3D full-tooth data; and making the upper, lower prostheses, and using each upper (lower) fixing element to implant the upper (lower) prosthesis into the patient's maxilla (mandible).
