Toothbrush tip
A toothbrush tip includes a brush head, a plurality of bristle tufts extending from the brush head, a water jet nozzle extending from the brush head, and a cover panel arranged on a rear of the toothbrush tip opposite the bristle tufts.
Cleaning appliance
A dental cleaning appliance includes a handle and a fluid delivery system. The fluid delivery system includes a nozzle for delivering a burst of working fluid to the teeth of a user, and a moveable fluid conduit which is moveable about an axis relative to the handle. The nozzle is moveable with the fluid conduit, which is biased for movement about the axis in a direction which urges the nozzle against a user's teeth during use of the appliance.
Cartridge and a base unit for use in an oral care appliance
A cartridge and a base unit for use in an oral care appliance are disclosed. The cartridge includes a connection interface configured to form a detachable connection. The base unit is also configured to engage operatively with the cartridge to facilitate flow of an oral care composition from the cartridge into the oral care appliance.
TOOTHBRUSH HOSE CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure includes embodiments directed to an oral cleansing device. The device may include a handle housing and a hose connector. The handle housing may include an end defining an aperture and the hose connector may be releasably coupled to the end. The hose connector may include a hose fluidly coupled to a reservoir and a body defining an inlet and an outlet. The hose may be coupled to the body and be in fluid communication with the inlet. The hose connector may include a collar coupled to the body and positioned around the hose at the inlet. In a first configuration, the outlet of the body may be positioned within the aperture of the handle housing and in a second configuration the outlet of the body may be separated from the handle housing.
Method and system for a modular dental device
Exemplary devices and methods facilitate a modular dental device including cartridges. The modular dental device includes an energy storage module, dispensing unit, motor, controller, button, and tube, configured to dispense a compound at a dispensing port. The modular dental device includes a chamber that may receive cartridges containing different compounds, and may serve different functions including cleaning and whitening. The modular dental device may be reconfigured to perform different functions by combining different dental device sections, or by changing the order that different dental device sections are connected in.
Toothbrush with disposable irrigator
An electric toothbrush is disclosed, having a handle including a drive motor and a head portion removably coupled to the handle. The head portion includes a brush, an exit port fed by an internal irrigation lumen, and a drive shaft operatively connecting the drive motor to the brush. A disposable irrigant reservoir is removably coupled directly to the head portion. The irrigant reservoir is in fluid communication with the internal irrigation lumen of the head portion. The head portion is configured to be replaceable with respect to the handle, and the irrigant reservoir is configured to be replaceable independent of the head portion. In some examples, the irrigant reservoir is a disposable bulb (e.g., a capsule), and is positioned such that the user can hold the handle while also squeezing the reservoir with the same hand. In some examples, the toothbrush head includes a suction mechanism.
ORAL CARE KITS, APPARATUS AND METHODS
An oral care kit comprises (i) a compressible pipette including a fluid-storage compartment and a fluid-loading tube, and (ii) a suction toothbrush having an attachment element externally disposed on a lateral-facing surface of the suction toothbrush. The attachment element is configured to stably and detachably retain the compressible pipette in a fixed orientation external to the suction toothbrush.
TOOTHBRUSH TIP
A toothbrush tip includes a brush head, a plurality of bristle tufts extending from the brush head, a water jet nozzle extending from the brush head, and a cover panel arranged on a rear of the toothbrush tip opposite the bristle tufts.
Oral cavity washing device
An oral cavity washing device includes: a body unit including a tank which stores a washing liquid, a pump from which the washing liquid stored in the tank is discharged, and a case formed by joining a plurality of parts to each other so as to accommodate the pump; a tube connected to the body unit so as to make the discharged washing liquid flow through the tube; and a washing unit connected to the tube so as to discharge the washing liquid. The oral cavity washing device includes a seal structure having at least a first seal portion which seals a joint portion between the plurality of parts on an outer shell of the case. With such a configuration, the body unit of the oral cavity washing device can be efficiently washed.
Short Wavelength Visible Light-Emitting Toothbrush With An Electronic Signal Interlock Control
A toothbrush having one or more light sources with an electronic interlock control device preventing operation of the light source when the toothbrush is removed from the user's mouth. The electronic interlock control over operation is necessary to prevent accidental eye exposure to the high intensity light source with a wavelength in the range of about 400 nm to about 1000 nm. The light-emitting toothbrush activates upon entering the user's mouth but deactivates immediately when removed, thus protecting the user's eyes from direct exposure to the high power light source contained in the brush head.
