Fastener element for attachment to a component, component assembly including the fastener element and method for the manufacture of the component assembly
A fastener element for attachment to a component, wherein the fastener element has a contact surface which contacts the component in the installed state. Furthermore, the fastener element has a mounting recess which faces the component in the dismantled state. The mounting recess is bounded by at least one sidewall and by a base section. The sidewall is, at least regionally, provided with at least one undercut which is effective in the axial direction of the fastener element. The base section is formed free of any aperture.
Split reins connector assembly and method
A connector assembly used with split reins and configured to directly attach with the split reins. The connector assembly includes first and second connecting members, each of the connecting members include a pair of spaced end bars and a center bar that define a first and second spacing, and a pair of side bars having a semi-U shaped configuration. A raised member upwardly extends from a top side of the center bar, and a fastener is attached to a lower side of the center bar. One connecting member having a male fastener half, and one connecting member having a female fastener half, such that the rider releasably attaches one connecting member on the first rein to the one connecting member on the second rein by attaching the male and female fastener halves.
Stethoscope Securing Device
The present invention is a novel device that improves the user's ability to carry or store a stethoscope while it is not in use, thereby enhancing the security of the stethoscope by preventing and reducing falls and collisions. In one embodiment, a device comprises two reversibly connectable connector halves that can be attached at different points along the stethoscope, such that a stable closed loop can be formed when the two halves are in the connected position. The halves can be unconnected easily by the user when the stethoscope is desired to be used, but resists unintended or accidental disconnection. In another embodiment, the device also enhances the ability of a user to identify the stethoscope by providing a surface for tags, text, or images. In other embodiments, embedded electronics provide enhanced tracking and communication options.
Push tie-type fastener without surface penetration
A male connector having two (or more) tines or prongs extending from a joined surface or head is inserted into a female connector. This is accomplished by way of pushing the two tines into an entry portal of the female connector which, as the tines are pushed into the female connector, guides the tines away from each other and perpendicular to their direction of entry. The tines may have repeated triangular apexes on the surface, similar to a cable tie, while the female connector has oppositely-disposed triangular surfaces such that when the tines are pushed into the female member, they are irreversibly or substantially irreversibly held into the female connector.
Releasable interlocking fastening device for attaching adjacent parts
A releasable interlocking device includes a pair of interactive plates, for fastening to apparel utilizing a system of two interactive pistes which when slid together diagonally utilizes the thickness of the apparel and, stud of a male plate to engage through a single angled flexible vane or lip to snap fit and lock over a solid edge of a female plate without damage to the aforesaid apparel.
SWIVEL CLIP
A swivel clip for decorating a strap is provided. The swivel clip comprises a pin and an attachment. The pin has a front/exposed face, a rear face and a stud projecting from the rear face. The attachment comprises an attachment body with a hole sized and configured to tightly fit the stud therein. The attachment also comprises first and second arms defining spaces with the attachment body, for receiving the straps therein. The pin and attachment are reversibly attachable to one another, wherein in a connected configuration, the stud is snapped in the hole of the attachment. A method of ornamenting a strap with the swivel clip is also provided.
NECKWEAR AND FASTENERS
A neckwear includes a neckband, a neckband module and one or more torso segments connected by fasteners. The neckwear may include a plurality of pivoting, intra-changeable, metallic torso segments. Also provided are improved take-apart fasteners and improved quick-release buckles, for use in neckwear, jewelry, wristwatches and watchbands or for otherwise securing objects.

Removable Belt Buckle System
A removable belt buckle system has a belt band, with interior and exterior surfaces, as well as a first end and second end. The first end has a hook-and-loop component on the interior surface and the second end has a corresponding hook-and-loop component on the exterior surface allowing for each end to releasably engage one-another. A clip releasably engages the belt band. The clip is defined by a first member connected to a second member by a spring portion. The spring portion biases the second member toward the first member until a contact point is reached. A lip portion extends at an obtuse angle from an opposite end of the second member relative to the spring portion. The clips first member releasably engages a buckle at the back side of the buckle.
Snap button and physiological signal detecting belt thereof for improving electric conductivity
A snap button includes a male retaining member and a female retaining member. The male retaining member includes a base, a hollow cylinder, and at least one protrusion portion. The hollow cylinder is disposed on the base, the at least one protrusion portion is disposed on the base and at a periphery of the hollow cylinder. The female retaining member includes a main body which has a hollow tube body. The hollow cylinder is housed through the hollow tube body.
