Systems and methods for transcatheter treatment of valve regurgitation
The invention relates to a device for use in the transcatheter treatment of mitral valve regurgitation, specifically a coaptation assistance devices for implantation across the valve; a system including the coaptation enhancement element and anchors for implantation; a system including the coaptation enhancement element, and one or more of the following: transseptal sheath, anchor delivery catheter, implant delivery catheter, and clip delivery catheter; and methods for transcatheter implantation of a coaptation element across a heart valve.
DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR TRANSCATHETER TREATMENT OF VALVE REGURGITATION
The invention relates to a device for use in the transcatheter treatment of mitral valve regurgitation, specifically a coaptation enhancement element for implantation across the valve; a system including the coaptation enhancement element and anchors for implantation; a system including the coaptation enhancement element, catheter and driver; and a method for transcatheter implantation of a coaptation element across a heart valve.
DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR TRANSCATHETER TREATMENT OF VALVULAR REGURGITATION
The invention relates to a device for use in the transcatheter treatment of mitral valve regurgitation, specifically a coaptation assistance element for implantation across the valve; a system including the coaptation assistance element and anchors for implantation; a system including the coaptation assistance element and delivery catheter; and a method for transcatheter implantation of a coaptation element across a heart valve.
Native valve repair devices and procedures
A system for implanting a repair device onto a native valve of a natural heart to repair the native valve of a patient during a non-open-heart procedure. The system includes a surgical delivery instrument and a valve repair device. The surgical delivery instrument has at least one lumen. The valve repair device is configured to be delivered through the lumen of the surgical delivery instrument and to be attached to a native valve of a patient. The valve repair device includes a pair of paddles and a pair of gripping members. The paddles are movable between an open position and a closed position, and the paddles are configured to flex upon being attached to the native valve of a patient. The paddles and the gripping members are configured to attach to the native valve of the patient.
Methods and devices for delivery of a prosthetic valve
A valve prosthesis and a system for delivering a valve prosthesis are described herein. The system can include a support frame, a valve anchor comprising an anchoring leg and a plurality of U-shaped members, and a suture coupled to the support frame and slidably coupled to the anchoring leg.
Valve translocation device and method for the treatment of functional valve regurgitation
The present invention provides devices for treating functional mitral regurgitation and methods of use thereof. The devices translocate a subject's mitral valve in an apical direction. The devices thereby treat mitral regurgitation while preserving a subject's original mitral valve and chordae tendinae.
MITRAL VALVE SPACER DEVICE
An implantable device includes an adjustable spacer and at least one anchor. The adjustable spacer is configured to be positioned between native heart valve leaflets to reduce regurgitation therebetween. The adjustable spacer can comprise a first side and a second side opposite the first side. Each side can be adjustable between a first width and a second width. Each side can be independently moved between the first width and the second width. The adjustable spacer can be made from a sponge material.
MITRAL LEAFLET REPAIR
A method and device for placing a leaflet patch over a heart valve. The device comprises a first atrium anchor and a first ventricle anchor configured to be placed in an atrium, a second atrium anchor and a second ventricle anchor configured to be placed in a ventricle, a first artificial chord configured to attach to the first atrium anchor and the first ventricle anchor, a second artificial chord configured to attach to the second atrium anchor and the second atrium anchor, and the leaflet patch. The leaflet patch is placed partially in the atrium and partially in the ventricle. The leaflet patch comprises a first channel configured to contain the first artificial chord and a second channel configured to contain the second artificial chord. At least one of the anchors comprises a winching mechanism for adjusting the tension of one of the articular chords.
