A piece of jewellery made from elastomer composite material, wherein the elastomer composite material includes a matrix made of elastomer in which between 0.5% and 4% by mass of cellulose fibres, between 0 and 2% by mass of an antibacterial additive, between 0 and 5% by mass of thermally conductive fillers, between 0 and 1% by mass of anti-odour agents, and between 0 and 1% by mass of silica are dispersed.

There is disclosed a wearable item. The wearable item includes at least one elongate member for supporting at least one attachable element. The elongate member is fabricated from an inner core that is surrounded by at least one outer layer. The at least one outer layer is elastic when strained by application of stress below a first elastic limit. The inner core is elastic when strained by application of stress below a second elastic limit or permanently deformed when strained by application of stress above the second elastic limit.

An embodiment personal item management apparatus includes a wearable band having a fixed circumference that defines a first outer diameter; and a clasp coupled to the wearable band, the clasp having a second outer diameter that is less than the first outer diameter and being adapted to couple a personal item to the wearable band. In an exemplary embodiment, the ratio of the second outer diameter to the first outer diameter is about 0.4.

According to a second aspect of the invention, a bracelet stabilizing bracelet device comprises a bracelet body 18 of a shape and structure such that it is wearable non-rotatably around a wrist of a user, without requiring intervention to prevent rotation; and an attachment arrangement to attach the bracelet device to a second bracelet, in such a way that the second bracelet is prevented from rotating around the wrist of the user by the stabilizing device.
