Method for fabricating semiconductor device with slanted conductive layers
The present application discloses a method for fabricating a semiconductor device with slanted conductive layers. The method for fabricating a semiconductor device includes providing a substrate, forming a first insulating layer above the substrate, forming first slanted recesses along the first insulating layer, and forming first slanted conductive layers in the first slanted recesses and a top conductive layer covering the first slanted conductive layers.
Hermetically sealed MEMS device and its fabrication
In described examples, a hermetic package of a microelectromechanical system (MEMS) structure includes a substrate having a surface with a MEMS structure of a first height. The substrate is hermetically sealed to a cap forming a cavity over the MEMS structure. The cap is attached to the substrate surface by a vertical stack of metal layers adhering to the substrate surface and to the cap. The stack has a continuous outline surrounding the MEMS structure while spaced from the MEMS structure by a distance. The stack has: a first bottom metal seed film adhering to the substrate and a second bottom metal seed film adhering to the first bottom metal seed film; and a first top metal seed film adhering to the cap and a second top metal seed film adhering to the first top metal seed film.

SEMICONDUCTOR ELEMENT WITH BONDING LAYER HAVING LOW-K DIELECTRIC MATERIAL
A semiconductor element having an interconnect bonding layer with a contact pad and a plasma damage-free low-k dielectric material is disclosed. The contact pad connects an underlying conductive feature through an intervening via. A thin dielectric layer is disposed on and covering the entire sidewalls of the contact pad, the intervening via and the underlying conductive feature, and making an approximately right angle turn to extend along an interface between the low-k dielectric material and a first dielectric layer that at least partially bury the underlying contact feature.
Semiconductor package and method of manufacturing the same
A method of manufacturing a semiconductor package including coating a flux on a connection pad provided on a first surface of a substrate, the flux including carbon nanotubes (CNTs), placing a solder ball on the connection pad coated with the flux, forming a solder layer attached to the connection pad from the solder ball through a reflow process, and mounting a semiconductor chip on the substrate such that the solder layer faces a connection pad in the semiconductor chip may be provided.

SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICES HAVING METAL POSTS FOR STRESS RELIEF AT FLATNESS DISCONTINUITIES
A semiconductor device includes a first body having a first coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) and a first surface, a third body having a third CTE and a third surface facing the first surface, and a fourth surface at an angle with respect to the third surface defining an edge of the third body, and a second body having a second CTE higher than the first and the third CTE, the second body contacting the first and the third surfaces. A post having a fourth CTE lower than the second CTE, transects the second body and contacts the edge.
