Provided herein is a surgical jig and methods for making and using the same. In at least one embodiment, the jig contains a forearm strap and finger strap to secure a patient's forearm and hand, respectively, to the jig, and at least one finger attachment site configured to receive and secure a fractured finger to the jig. The jig is designed to position the hand and finger in an optimal position for fracture reduction by a clinician while utilizing minimal resources. In various embodiments, the present methods of using the jig include adjustment of the patient's hand by the clinician to ensure optimal placement of the fractured finger prior to commencing fracture reduction.
