A disposable female urinal comprises a funnel shaped body formed from a moulded fibre material. A vaginal shield assembly for protecting female genitalia from urine includes a panel that has a plurality of intersecting sides such that the panel has a triangular shape for positioning over female genitalia. The panel has a urine slot extending through the panel that is aligned with a urethra when the panel is positioned over the female genitalia. In this way the urine can pass through the urine slot. The panel is comprised of a fluid impermeable material to inhibit the urine from contacting the female genitalia. In this way the panel inhibits irritation that would develop from the urine contacting the female genitalia.

Disclosed is an improved urine collection and drainage device comprising a device body comprising a vulva-facing portion and a handle portion. The vulva-facing portion can comprise a bulbous protuberance atop a posterior ridge at a posterior end and a partial dome portion in proximity to an anterior end. The urine collection and drainage device can further comprise a urine collection slot defined along a urethra-facing side of the vulva-facing portion in between the bulbous protuberance and the partial dome portion. The bulbous protuberance can be configured to rest against at least part of a vaginal opening, the posterior ridge can be configured to rest against the fourchette of the subject when the urine collection slot surrounds the urethral-opening. The vulva-facing portion can fit snugly against the vulva vestibule such that the labia minora surround the device body to create a watertight seal when pressed against the subject.

A portable urinal is arranged for coupling with a bottle having a bottle opening, wherein the portable urinal includes an urine collector having a funnel channel for receiving urine expelled by a user, and an attachment head including a detachable lid extended from the urine collector for detachably coupling at the bottle opening of the bottle, and a tubular urinal guider extended from the detachable lid for inserting into the bottle opening of the bottle when the detachable lid is coupled at the bottle opening of the bottle so as to guide the urine into the bottle from the funnel channel. A wearable urinary collection apparatus includes an elongate, tubular, flexible, collection receptacle which receives and stores urine therein, a constriction formed at an intermediate position of the collection receptacle which defines a constricted opening at the intermediate position such that the urine which a user discharges into the collection receptacle must pass through the constricted opening, a short tubular member having opposite open ends and a diameter which is smaller than a diameter of the collection receptacle and having one of opposite open ends connected at the constriction in alignment with the constricted opening, and a check valve provided at the one of the opposite open ends of the tubular member adjacent to the constricted opening and which is configured to permit urine to freely pass from the constricted opening into the tubular member, and to block urine from flowing from the tubular member into the constricted opening.
