An elastomeric tube extends from outside the housing to a termination point past the baseplate within the housing, the baseplate and the housing configured such that the collection tube is pinched and held in place between the baseplate angled circumferential side surface and an inside surface of the vented housing. One-way valves positioned in each valve aperture communicate air through the baseplate into the collection tube. A urethra tube, configured for collecting discharged urine, is positioned in a proximal end of the collection tube.

In use, a user associates a first open end of the device with his or her urethra, and places a second open end of the device into the water contained within the receptacle. With the device associated with the urethra, a user urinates into the device, and urine is conveyed into the receptacle in a clean and quiet manner.

A sanitary hand-held disposable portable urinal device is well suited for male use. In an embodiment, this easy to use device has a leak and splash resistant flexible, sealable opening that is attached to two flexible transparent plastic bags. In an embodiment, bags are nested inside of each other and are joined together to provide entry only to the inner bag. The bags are odor and vapor sealable and made of a hydrophobic polymer that may be biodegradable. In the space between the two bags a dry gel polymer is present. After the urine is collected in the inner bag the top of the bag is sealed. The contents of the inner bag are then exposed to the space containing the gel through a water soluble, or mechanical means. After use, the disposable urinal may be discarded.

The hollow tubular body extends between first and second end portions thereof, and defines a diameter thereof, and an inner circumferential profile along the first end portion. The hollow tubular body includes a plurality of foldable lines across which the hollow tubular body is folded to be formed. The perforation line is formed along the first end portion and extends across one of a foldable line. The liner is coupled along the inner circumferential profile. The hollow tubular body is wearable, and to fit various sizes is tearable along the perforation line to expand or converge the diameter. The liner along the first end portion absorbs urination drops while the hollow tubular body is removed.
