A receiver for urine whether for taking sample or disposing thereof, includes an open-topped of saddle shape which approximates the configuration of thighs, labia or other convenient zone.

The present invention is a bedside or chairside urinal holder/cover made entirely of durable washable fabric. Fabric pieces are sewn to conform to the shape of a urinal. Three sides of the holder/cover are tall enough to cover the urinal to the lid. The fourth side is shorter. Its semi-circular opening allows easy access to a portable urinal's handle. Permanently stitched to the top rim of the holder/cover is a closed-end loop, also made of durable washable fabric. The loop may be laid over the top of a bedrail or chair arm and the body of the holder/cover pulled through this loop to securely fasten it in place. The holder/cover cannot accidentally come unfastened, hides urinal contents, and gives an aesthetically pleasing appearance. It can be laundered and stored with other linens until it is put back into service. It takes little space and has a long lifespan.

A lower garment for a female person has a mechanism that when engaged, secures the garment to the female person, and a fly opening implemented at a specific position in a fabric of the garment, the fly opening comprising a substantially straight slit of a first length covered by a flap of fabric stitched to the fabric of the garment around the slit such that the slit is covered by the flap except for an un-stitched edge of the flap of a length equal to the length of the slit. The specific position in fabric of the garment is a position that enables the female person to engage a tubular portion of an external device through the fly opening, and to move the tubular portion to her vulva and insert same to position of the urethra without disengaging the mechanism that secures the garment to the female person.

A portable toilet including: a bowl made of soft material; and a resilient loop integrated with the bowl, the resilient loop forming a rim of the bowl; wherein the bowl comprises a chamber at the bottom of the bowl. The chamber holds a bag which is taken out to cover the bowl during use.

A women's urinal device that allows women to urinate while standing upright to conserve water and space required by conventional toilets or commodes. The women's urinal device is adapted to be held against a woman's vaginal area to receive urine excreted from a woman, the urine then is adapted to be excreted therethrough the interior of the generally conical-shaped funnel and therethrough an aperture formed on the bottom of the generally conical-shaped funnel, where the urine is adapted to be directed into a urinal. The women's urinal device is adapted to be dispensed from a funnel dispenser that is attached to the bathroom partition adjacent to the urinal to conveniently access the women's urinal device.

Examples of a disposable female urine collection system are described. The urine collection system comprises a receiving funnel with an upper rim defining an entrance opening and a receiving body extending downwardly from the entrance opening. A handle integrated with the receiving funnel is provided to help positioning and holding firmly the urine collection system during use. A removable lid is sized to close the entrance opening of the receiving funnel and a tube spout is integrally connected to the lower part of the funnel. A collection container with a collection cavity and an opening mouth is connected to the tube spout. The urine collection systems can be used in public washrooms to prevent user being exposed to pathogen microorganism, users that are in laying and/or seated/half-seated and bedridden position to avoid direct contact with public bed pan seats, or as urine samples collectors for medical analysis.

A urination device includes a receptacle having a cuboid shape. The receptacle further includes a top, a bottom, a front, a back, a first side, and a second side. A top opening is defined by an inner edge at the top of the receptacle. A front opening is defined by a front edge at the front of the receptacle. An elongated v-shaped channel is defined along the bottom from the front to the back. At least a portion of the elongated v-shaped channel is disposed below the top opening.

A universal commode system (UCS) is provided and includes an air/liquid separator, a urine line connected to the air/liquid separator, a fan, a cabin air return line connected to the air/liquid separator and to the fan, a commode line connected to the cabin air return line, a first motor coupled to the air/liquid separator and configured to drive an operation of the air/liquid separator and a second motor independent of the first motor, coupled to the fan and configured to drive an operation of the fan.

A microgravity urine collection apparatus may include a bellows defining an internal chamber having a selectively adjustable volume. The bellows may include an inlet and an outlet. The microgravity urine collection apparatus may further include a first valve coupled to the bellows and configured to selectively control fluid flow through the inlet. The microgravity urine collection apparatus may also include a second valve coupled to the bellows and configured to allow fluid flow out of the bellows via the outlet and prevent fluid flow into the bellows via the outlet.

A female urination aid to enable a female to urinate from a standing position. The invention, in one embodiment, has a disposable funnel, typically made of paper or similar material, which fits into a reusable holder, which enables the funnel to be held against the body. The funnel may include an attached pad of wiping paper. In a second, reusable or multi-use embodiment, the funnel portion of the apparatus is of a reusable material such as plastic. A fluid container for holding a cleaning solution conveniently snaps onto the funnel, forming an easy to carry kit. Wiping paper may be attached to the funnel, so as to form a readily usable kit.
