The ring base may be resiliently flexible and may define an overlapping loop with a central opening that expands and contracts to fit the wearer's finger. The display screen may be flexibly coupled to the ring base and may have a vertical axis that is canted at an angle relative to a central axis of the ring base to ergonomically position the display screen while the wearable computing device is worn on the finger of the wearer's hand.

The method includes injecting a first material into a first mold to form an outer ring portion, injecting a second material into a second mold to form an inner ring portion, and positioning an anti-stretch element between the outer ring portion and the inner ring portion. The second mold includes at least one feature on a surface thereof, the at least one feature corresponding to connected lateral grooves and inner grooves on an inner surface of the inner ring portion.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVED SIGNAL PROCESSING USING FINGER RING ELECTROCARDIOGRAM MONITORS

A method of monitoring a health status of a patient using a monitoring system comprising a pair of finger ring electrocardiogram (ECG) monitors. The monitoring system also includes at least one electronic component comprising a system on a chip (SoC) that features a data store and a processor. Biopotential signals from the left-hand finger of the patient (a first reading) and biopotential signals from the right-hand finger of the patient (a second reading) are received by the conductors of the respective ECG monitors, and correlated by detecting and removing signal latency between the first reading and the second reading. Analysis instructions executed by at least one of the respective processors of the ECG monitors identify a physiological condition of the patient from the correlated reading.
