Absorbent article having a waist gasketing element
The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles having a waist gasketing element, with the gasketing element having an adhesive zone and one or more adhesive-free zones. At least a portion of the waist gasketing element is adhesively attached to a chassis of the absorbent article. Additionally, a portion of the waist gasketing element is mechanically attached to a portion of the absorbent article. The bio-based content of the absorbent article is from about 5% to about 100% using ASTM D6866-10, method B.
Absorbent hygienic article for absorbing body fluids
An absorbent hygienic article for absorbing body fluids, the article including a liquid absorbent top layer and a backing layer, the top layer and the backing layer being made from roll materials and being joined together. The top layer is constituted by a cellulosic fibrous web, the fibres in the cellulosic fibrous web being constituted by a mixture of cellulose fibres, the mixture including regenerated cellulose fibres or natural cellulose staple fibres and cellulose pulp fibres, the cellulosic fibrous web being a foam-formed, hydroentangled cellulosic fibrous web.
System of pantiliners and menstrual pads
A system of pantiliners and menstrual pads that can be used to alleviate undesirable conditions associated with dysmenorrhea or other physiological conditions is provided. The pantiliners of the invention include a top layer of composite material, a ventilation layer, and a bottom layer of breathable material. The menstrual pads of the invention include a top layer of composite material, an air-laid layer, a layer of super adsorbent polymer inside the air-laid layer, a ventilation layer, and a bottom layer of breathable material. The present system of pantiliners and menstrual pads is helpful in providing a decrease of pain and other unwanted symptoms during a menstrual cycle. In another advantage, the right placement guide and the left placement guide are provided to assist in placing the menstrual pads of the invention accurately in relation to the undergarment of the user.
Absorbent article with improved bonding
An absorbent article is provided. The absorbent article includes a liquid pervious film topsheet having a body facing surface and a garment facing surface; a backsheet having a body facing surface and a garment facing surface; an absorbent core having a body facing surface and a garment facing surface, the absorbent core being provided between the topsheet and the backsheet; and a bonding layer having a body facing surface and a garment facing surface. The bonding layer having a basis weight of less than 100 gsm and positioned between the absorbent core and the topsheet, the bonding layer being bonded to the topsheet forming a bond pattern. The bond pattern covering at least about 10% to about 20% of the absorbent article.
My Intimates Period Pod
An article of manufacture for providing an emergency period hygiene garment is disclosed. A carrying pouch contains the components of the emergency period pod including an undergarment, a fabric cover-up, disposable sanitary wipes, and a sanitary napkin or tampon. The various components may be stored within the carrying pouch and carried by a woman for use during an unexpected start of her menstrual period. The undergarment is shown having a detachable side component with connection elements coupled to each side of the undergarment from its waist to the crotch allowing the undergarment to be separated from its front and rear portions for ease of removal.
TUNABLE ABSORBENT UNDERGARMENT
An absorbent undergarment with a tunable absorbent portion. The tunable portion being tunable to absorb and/or capture both fluid materials as well as more viscous, solid, and/or semi-solid materials. Thus, the undergarment affords the user improved wearability as well as comfort and avoids unwanted odors from exposed material.
ABSORBENT ARTICLES WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF CHANNELS
An absorbent article has a front side, a back side, a longitudinal axis, a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core includes a first type of channels, wherein the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap are bonded to another, and a second type of channels, wherein the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap are not bonded or are less bonded to one another in this second type of channels than in the first type of channels. The absorbent material may also include cellulose and superabsorbent particles.
Absorbent article with an absorbent core having two longitudinally extending side regions and a longitudinally extending central region between said side regions and method for manufacturing said absorbent article
An absorbent article has a longitudinal direction, a transverse direction and a thickness direction, and includes a fluid permeable topsheet, a fluid impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core enclosed between the topsheet and the backsheet having, in the longitudinal direction, a front section, a rear section and a crotch section between the front section and the rear section. The absorbent core has two longitudinally extending side regions and a longitudinally extending central region between said side regions. The central region and the side regions are spaced apart in the transversal direction by longitudinally extending channel regions. Furthermore, the width of the central region in the transversal direction is less than the width of each of the side regions in the transversal direction, at least in the front section and the rear section, and the channel regions are of less basis weight than the side regions and the central region.
Absorbent article
An absorbent article includes compressed grooves formed in line symmetry with respect to a longitudinal centerline and including a pair of central compressed grooves, and a pair of front lateral side compressed grooves and a pair of rear lateral side compressed grooves formed on the front lateral side and the rear lateral side, respectively, of the central compressed grooves. The front and rear lateral side compressed grooves each includes a first arc-shaped compressed groove and a second arc-shaped compressed groove, positioned more distant from the centerline than the first arc-shaped compressed groove, which are disposed such that their respective inner circular arcs face each other. An extension line of the central compressed grooves passes between an end of the first compressed groove and an end of the second compressed groove, and does not pass between another end of the first compressed groove and another end of the second compressed groove.
