METHOD FOR CONVERTING BIODEGRADABLE POLYMERS INTO HUMUS WITH A LOW RELEASE AMOUNT OF CO2 AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to biodegradable polymers, particularly to a method for converting biodegradable polymers into humus with a low release amount of CO.sub.2 and use thereof. A composite material system is formed from the biodegradable polymers and the materials that can slowly release nutrient nitrogen or nutrients nitrogen and phosphorus, in which the mass ratio of carbon to nitrogen in the composite material system is (1-35):1. The materials of the present invention can promote the biodegradable polymers to be converted into soil humus or compost humus, rather than to be converted into greenhouse gas CO.sub.2, which is to be emitted into the atmosphere. Therefore, the method is of great significance for energy conservation and emission reduction, green and efficient utilization of biodegradable polymers and efficient and green utilization of biodegradable polymers wastes.

20220389334 · 2022-12-08 · ·

An integrated process for conversion of a hydrocarbon stream comprising light naphtha to enhanced value products. The process includes passing the hydrocarbon stream through the first reactor, the first reactor being an isomerization reactor with an isomerization catalyst disposed therein to generate an isomerate stream comprising at least 20% by weight iso-paraffins. The process further includes passing the isomerate from the first reactor through a second reactor, the second reactor being an aromatization reactor with an aromatization catalyst disposed therein to generate an aromatic rich stream. The process finally includes passing the aromatic rich stream to an aromatic recovery complex to separate the aromatic rich stream into an aromatic fraction, a raffinate fraction comprising unconverted paraffins, and an aromatic bottoms fraction comprising C9+ hydrocarbons, where the aromatic fraction comprises benzene, toluene and mixed xylenes. An associated system for performing the process is also provided.

The present invention relates to a high pressure process for Pre-Combustion and Post-Combustion CO.sub.2 capture (HP/MP/LP gasification) from a CO.sub.2 gas stream (CO2-Stream) by way of CO.sub.2 total subcritical condensation (CO2-CC), separation of liquid CO.sub.2, higher pressure elevation of obtained liquid CO.sub.2 via HP pump, superheating of CO.sub.2 up to high temperature for driving of a set of CO.sub.2 expander turbines for additional power generation (CO2-PG), EOR or sequestration (First new Thermodynamic Cycle). The obtained liquid CO.sub.2 above, will be pressurized at a higher pressure and blended with HP water obtaining high concentrated electrolyte, that is fed into HP low temperature electrochemical reactor (HPLTE-Syngas Generator) wherefrom the cathodic syngas and anodic oxygen will be performed. In particular the generated HP oxygen/syngas will be utilized for sequential combustion (“H.sub.2/O.sub.2-torches”) for super-efficient hydrogen based fossil power generation (Second new Thermodynamic Cycle).

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MTBE PRODUCTION

Systems and methods for producing MTBE are disclosed. A C.sub.4 feed stream containing isobutylene and other C.sub.4 hydrocarbons is fed into a reactor unit for producing MTBE. The effluent of the reactor unit comprising MTBE is further processed to produce a MTBE product stream that comprises at least 90 wt. % MTBE. At least a portion of the MTBE product stream is then recycled back to the reactor unit.
