In an example, provided is a crusher including (i) a crusher frame, (ii) a crusher subframe movably suspended from the crusher frame, (ii) a rotary bearing fastened to the crusher subframe, (iv) a rotatable picker shaft rotatably supported by the rotary bearing and adapted to rotate relative to the crusher subframe, and (v) at least one picker fastened to the rotatable picker shaft.
Aerated composite materials, methods of production and uses thereof
The invention provides novel aerated composite materials that possess excellent physical and performance characteristics of aerated concretes, and methods of production and uses thereof. These composite materials can be readily produced from widely available, low cost raw materials by a process suitable for large-scale production with improved energy consumption, desirable carbon footprint and minimal environmental impact.
LOW-SHRINKAGE, HIGH-STRENGTH, AND LARGE CERAMIC PLATE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed are a low-shrinkage, high-strength, and large ceramic plate and a manufacturing method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing a ceramic raw material powder; (2) subjecting an acicular wollastonite to surface coating with a silane coupling agent and to pre-dispersion with a fumed silica to obtain a pre-treated acicular wollastonite; and (3) thoroughly mixing the ceramic raw material powder and the pre-treated acicular wollastonite and granulating the resulting mixture, the amount of the pre-treated acicular wollastonite added being 10 wt % to 30 wt % of the ceramic raw material powder, and subjecting the resulting granules to dry pressing and sintering to obtain the large ceramic plate. The acicular wollastonite is incorporated into the manufacturing of the large ceramic plate to take full advantage of the reinforcing effect and low sintering shrinkage characteristics of the acicular wollastonite. The invention reduces sintering shrinkage and increases product strength.
Ceramic composition
A ceramic composition which can be used as a sintering aid includes 1-2 mol % of magnesium oxide (MgO), 5-15 mol % of aluminum oxide (Al.sub.2O.sub.3), 25-40 mol % of silicon dioxide (SiO.sub.2), 40-55 mol % of calcium oxide (CaO), 0.1-8 mol % of ferric oxide (Fe.sub.2O.sub.3), 0.1-2 mol % of sulfur trioxide (SO.sub.3) and 0.1-2 mol % of titanium oxide (TiO.sub.2). Alternatively, the ceramic composition includes 1-8 mol % of MgO, 5-15 mol % of Al.sub.2O.sub.3, 25-40 mol % of SiO.sub.2, 40-55 mol % of CaO, 0.1-8 mol % of Fe.sub.2O.sub.3, 0.1-2 mol % of SO.sub.3 and 0.9-2 mol % of TiO.sub.2.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING COMPOSITE PARTICLES AND INSULATION MATERIAL FOR THE PRODUCTION OF INSULATING PRODUCTS FOR THE BUILDING MATERIALS INDUSTRY, AND CORRESPONDING USES
What are described are a process for producing an insulating product for the construction materials industry or an insulating material as intermediate for production of such a product, and a corresponding insulating material/insulating product. Also described are the use of a matrix encapsulation method for production of composite particles in the production of an insulating product for the construction materials industry or of an insulating material as intermediate for production of such a product, and the corresponding use of the composite particles producible by means of a matrix encapsulation method
Forming a ceramic product
A method of forming a ceramic product, the method comprising producing a ceramic forming mixture in the form of a slurry, causing the slurry to form, extruding the formed slurry to produce a plurality of lengths of extruding material each with a diameter of less than 10 mm, firing the extruded material so as to partially sinter the extruded material, forming the partially sintered extruded material into a required shape for a product, and subsequently firing the shaped partially sintered extruded material to form the ceramic product.
