Liquefied gas treatment system for vessel

Provided is a liquefied gas treatment system for a vessel, which includes a cargo tank storing liquefied natural gas (LNG), and an engine using the LNG as fuel. The liquefied gas treatment system includes: a compressor line configured to compress boil-off gas (BOG) generated in the cargo tank by a compressor and supply the compressed BOG to the engine as fuel; a high pressure pump line configured to compress the LNG stored in the cargo tank by a pump and supply the compressed LNG to the engine as fuel; and a heat exchanger configured to liquefy a part of BOG, which is compressed by the compressor, by exchanging heat with BOG that is discharged from the cargo tank and transferred to the compressor.

MOTOR KILL SWITCH ARRANGEMENT
20170221657 · 2017-08-03 ·

The present invention relates to motor safety devices as used in increasing numbers for the killing of engines or disengaging propulsion units from motors, when there are no operators to maintain control of an apparatus or vehicle such as jet-ski, boat, go-kart and the like or personnel to oversee use of a motorised tool or the like. Motor boat operators on a boat have been known to fall overboard without being detected by the operator of the boat. Such runaway boats have been known to seriously injure the operator of the boat in the water since a runaway boat tends to circle back to the place where the operator has fallen overboard. The present invention is also applicable to other types of equipment such as motorised gymnasium equipment, hand operated power tools, such as agricultural and arboriculturist equipment and wood working tools.

JET PROPELLED WATERCRAFT
20170274972 · 2017-09-28 ·

A jet propelled watercraft includes a reverse gate that moves to a first position and to a second position. When the reverse gate is in the first position, the reverse gate causes a vessel body to move forward. When the reverse gate is in the second position, the reverse gate causes the vessel body to decelerate or move backward. A velocity mode selector is used to select a normal mode or a velocity mode. The velocity mode has a maximum velocity different from that of the normal mode. When the reverse gate is in the second position and the velocity mode is selected, a controller is configured or programmed to set an upper limit of an engine rotation speed in the velocity mode to be different from that of the engine rotation speed in the normal mode.

Liquefied gas transfer device for reducing boil-off gas

Provided is a liquefied gas transfer device for reducing boil-off gas. The liquefied gas transfer device for reducing boil-off gas comprises: at least one transfer pipe formed in a vertical direction inside a quay for storing liquefied gas so as to transfer the liquefied gas; a branch pipe which is branched from a lower part of the transfer pipe to one side of the transfer pipe, and which has an end part opened toward a bottom surface of the quay; a valve which is connected to the branch pipe and/or the transfer pipe, and which opens and closes the branch pipe or the transfer pipe so as to move the liquefied gas from the transfer pipe to the branch pipe; and a resistance member disposed inside the branch pipe so as to interrupt the flow of the liquefied gas.

Floating type LNG station

Provided is a renewable energy power generation system (10) having a renewable energy power generating apparatus (12) arranged to generate electric power; and a hydrogen power generation module (20) having a separation unit (22) adapted to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen, and a fuel cell unit (28) adapted to receive air or oxygen, and hydrogen from said separation unit or from a hydrogen storage; the fuel cell unit being arranged to produce electric power in the presence of hydrogen and oxygen; wherein the hydrogen power generation module being adapted to receive electric power from the at least one renewable energy power generating apparatus at least prior to production of electric power by the fuel cell unit.

Wind-Water Machine Set
20210371060 · 2021-12-02 ·

A wind-water machine set is an evolving jet machine that moves the internal engine to the outside of the sleeve to work, instead of using a water jet as the main and air-jet as the auxiliary. When a ship uses multiple groups of wind-water machine set, there is a master control center for overall control and coordinated operation. Controlling the propulsion system makes the ship move forward and backward in an orderly manner. Control the surfing system to eliminate the bow water resistance and cooperate with the propulsion system. The steering control system is controlled to make the ship easy to operate the steering. Control the balance system to keep the ship balanced without swaying the roll angle. Control the draught system so that ships do not need ballast water. So that the ship can sail at super high speed, super fuel-efficient and safe.

ELECTRIC WATERBORNE TRANSPORT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
20220153393 · 2022-05-19 ·

An electric waterborne transport system is disclosed which includes a plurality of electric power generators deployed over a waterbody, the plurality of electric power generators generating electricity from a renewable energy source, and a power line suspended above a surface of the waterbody and spanning between two distant destinations, the power line receiving electricity from the plurality of electric power generators and transmitting the electricity to a cargo ship to propel the cargo ship to travel along the power line.

Zero Emissions Marine Engine
20220144402 · 2022-05-12 ·

This is a utility patent application for the design of a large marine engine that is also suitable, in different configurations, for smaller marine applications and many different power generation and transportation applications. The drawings show a ten-cylinder two-stroke engine, cylinders with a 110-inch stroke and 36-inch bore, pistons, connecting rods, and a crankshaft. The pistons are driven by the combustion of liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen ignited by a sparking system. The engine is cooled via coolant passages in the block and head and lubricated by three separate lubrication systems. It uses cryogenic fuel pumps, electronic fuel injection, and electronic actuators regulated by a remote engine control unit. It is close to a zero emissions design, with only steam, water vapor, and extremely minute quantities of burned lubricants and trace air combustion products heading up the stack.
