Exhaust pipe apparatus and ship comprising same
The present disclosure relates to an exhaust pipe apparatus. The exhaust pipe apparatus includes a first exhaust pipe provided to directly discharge exhaust gas discharged from a combustion engine to the outside, a second exhaust pipe connected in parallel with the first exhaust pipe and having a branch pipe connected to one side thereof such that the exhaust gas is directly discharged to the outside or discharged through the branch pipe, and a first damper installed in the second exhaust pipe to control a flow of the exhaust gas to be directly discharged to the outside or discharged through the branch pipe.
Multi-loop natural circulation experimental device under six-degree-of-freedom motion conditions and method therefor
A multi-loop natural circulation experimental device under six-degree-of-freedom motion conditions and a method therefor are provided. The device includes: a six-degree-of-freedom motion simulation platform; a multi-loop main circulation loop including a serpentine pre-heater, an experimental section, two sleeve-type condensers, and a pressurized circulating pump, a voltage stabilizer and related equipment; and a cooling water system including a sleeve condenser, a plate heat exchanger, a cooling tower, a cooling fan, a cooling water tank and related equipment; and an electric heating system including a DC power supply, a low voltage power controller and a transformer. The present invention also provides an experimental method of the device.
Hybrid Propulsor for Watercraft
A novel watercraft propulsion device is disclosed that includes multiple propulsive elements improving power and efficiency over prior designs. A self-adjusting variable pitch propeller is combined with a water jet and an exhaust driven turbine to provide optimal thrust and efficiency across the range of engine power, load and watercraft speed. In the preferred embodiment, propulsive elements are axially disposed around a central drive shaft and exhaust port with the combined water jet/exhaust turbine disposed closest to drive shaft and the variable pitch propeller attached to the exterior of the water jet housing. A rotating duct is fixed to the propeller blades and rotates with the blades to reduce cavitation. Combined apparatus provides increased performance and efficiency over all watercraft speeds/load as well as additional safety due to the ducted propeller.
WATER PUMP FOR WATERCRAFT
A self-propelling watercraft system is provided. The watercraft has a base with a plurality of sidewalls extending from the base to form a cockpit. The base also has a recess, where a pump can detachably connect to the hull within the recess. The pump has an intake valve on a first end and a nozzle on a second end that is opposite the first end. The intake valve can intake water. The nozzle can jettison water received in the pump from the intake valve and agitate water surrounding the nozzle.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCTION OF POWER CONSUMPTION AND EMISSIONS OF MARINE VESSELS
A marine vessel, system, and process provides for reducing or eliminating fuel consumption and emissions of marine vessels. System and method for charging an electricity storage element of an energy storage system of a floating marine vessel may include applying a power source from a marine platform to an electrical power bus of the floating vessel to charge the electricity storage element. A power generator of the marine vessel configured to supply electrical power to the power bus may be configured from an ON state to an OFF state.

Wind-water machine set
A wind-water machine set is an evolving jet machine that moves the internal engine to the outside of the sleeve to work, instead of using a water jet as the main and air-jet as the auxiliary. When a ship uses multiple groups of wind-water machine set, there is a master control center for overall control and coordinated operation. Controlling the propulsion system makes the ship move forward and backward in an orderly manner. Control the surfing system to eliminate the bow water resistance and cooperate with the propulsion system. The steering control system is controlled to make the ship easy to operate the steering. Control the balance system to keep the ship balanced without swaying the roll angle. Control the draught system so that ships do not need ballast water. So that the ship can sail at super high speed, super fuel-efficient and safe.
USE OF HYDROGEN AND LIQUID NATURAL GAS HYBRID FUEL IN MARINE APPLICATIONS TO REDUCE CARBON FOOTPRINT
A method of operating a vessel includes providing hydrogen or a fuel mixture containing hydrogen and a hydrocarbon fuel to a power generator disposed on the vessel, and providing power from the power generator to an electrical load of the vessel.
System for providing power to a maritime vessel
A drive system mounted to the hull of a buoyant vessel, the drive system having a rectifier, a generator, an AC bus in communication with shore power or a charging system and the rectifier, a DC bus in communication with the rectifier, at least one energy storage system, an inverter, a prime mover, a load regenerating device, and a control and monitor system which has predefined specifications for at least one of: storage units of at least one energy storage system; stored therein and wherein the control and monitor system is adapted to: automatically control the DC/DC converters, relieve a current draw from one or more storage units, provide charging current, and automatically draw power and redirect energy.
AIRCRAFT PROPULSION SYSTEM
An aircraft propulsion system includes at least first and second electrical generators, each being configured to provide electrical power to a respective first and second AC electrical network. The system further comprises at least first and second AC electrical motors directly electrically coupled to a respective AC network and coupled to a respective propulsor, and a DC electrical network electrically coupled to the first and second AC networks via respective first and second AC to DC converters, and to a further electrical motor, the further electrical motor being coupled to a propulsor.
