A computing system captures communications transmitted by a host device across a network associated with the ICS. Values of a first set of fields are applied at an input layer of the trained neural network, while values of a second set of fields are applied at an output layer of the neural network. METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTHENTICATION AND AUTHORIZATION
Techniques for authenticating and authorising authorizing user access to a component of a power plant within a private network of a renewable power plant having wind turbine generators. One technique includes providing at a local computer system in the private network a list of credentials and authorizations representing a plurality of identifiers and authenticators of users and corresponding access authorizations. The local computer is in direct communication with components of the power plant and is configured to receive a request for access from a user via a computer interface in the component in the private network. If the requested access can be granted by consulting the list of credentials and authorizations, the grant is communicated from the local computer to the computer interface in the component, and in case access cannot be granted, a request for update of the list of credentials and authorizations is communicated from the local computer system to a central computer system outside the private network.
Electric Border Gateway Device and Method for Chaining and Storage of Sensing Data Based on the Same
The present disclosure discloses an electric border gateway device which adopts the blockchain technology to implement communication authentication and data transmission encryption at the gateway. As a device for sinking and processing local information, the border gateway device may build not only a local blockchain network with a variety of local electric sensing terminal devices, but also a regional blockchain network with other border gateways and electric management platforms. As a critical node of these two types of blockchain, the border gateway may enable the authentication of identity legality between electric sensing terminal devices, the critical data storage in the blockchain ledger, the deployment and implementation of blockchain transaction by control and coordinated functions, and the safe and reliable data interaction. The present disclosure also discloses a method for chaining and storage of sensing data based on the electric border gateway device.

An example system includes an aggregator configured to receive a service collaboration request and iteratively determine, based on minimum and maximum power values for DERs under its management, an optimized operation schedule. The aggregator may also be configured to iteratively determine, based on the optimized operation schedule, an estimated flexibility range for devices under its management and output an indication thereof. The system may also include a power management unit (PMU) configured to iteratively receive the indication and determine, based on a network model that includes the estimated flexibility range, a reconfiguration plan and an overall optimized operation schedule for the network. The PMU may also be configured to iteratively cause reconfiguration of the network based on the plan. The PMU and aggregator may also be configured to iteratively, at a fast timescale, cause energy resources under their management to modify operation based on the overall optimized operation schedule.

A respective one of the substations of the system including: a first directional protective relay to generate a signal operating on the electrical power line between the respective one of the substations and a remote one of the substations; a cyber health module to receive remote signals from two remote directional protective relays and output a reliability signal based on consistency of the remote signals and a status of the communication channels being operational; a circuit breaker to interrupt electrical power flow when directed; and a comparison circuit to receive signals and to direct the circuit breaker to interrupt electrical power flow when the reliability signal from the cyber health module indicates consistency, the first directional protective relay indicates fault, and at least one of the remote directional protective relays indicate fault.
