A disposable diaper includes: a top sheet constituting a use-side surface; a liquid impervious sheet disposed on a back surface side; and an absorbent element interposed therebetween. A moisturizing agent mainly containing glycerin is applied to the top sheet, an application region of the moisturizing agent is an exposed region that can be at least visually recognized directly from a use surface side in an unfolded state of the product, and the exposed region has high concentration application regions Q of the moisturizing agent in at least one of peripheral portions in a front-back direction and peripheral portions in a width direction, and a low concentration application region MZ of the moisturizing agent in an intermediate region between the high concentration application regions.

TOPICALLY TREATED TISSUE PRODUCT

Disclosed is a low-cost, in-line process for treating a fibrous web with a lotion. The process generally involves passing a web through a nip formed by a pair of opposed surfaces, where one of the surfaces has been treated with a lotion having a penetration hardness greater than 5.0 mm. As the web passes through the nip, the lotion is transferred from one of the opposed surfaces to the surface of the web. In certain instances, the web may have a textured surface and only a portion of the web's textured surface is treated with a lotion.

An absorbent article includes: a top sheet constituting a usage-side surface; a liquid impervious sheet disposed on a back surface side; and an absorbent element interposed between the top sheet and the liquid impervious sheet. The top sheet is a perforated nonwoven fabric in which a large number of openings penetrating the nonwoven fabric from a front surface to a back surface are formed at intervals in a front-back direction and a width direction of a product. A liquid pervious intermediate sheet is bonded to a back surface side of the top sheet at a large number of bonding points by thermal bonding or ultrasonic bonding. The openings each have an area of 1 to 30 mm.sup.2. The bonding points each have an area of 0.12 to 20 mm.sup.2, the area being smaller than the area of the opening.

Absorbent product comprising a nonwoven material

Absorbent product includes a nonwoven material arranged to be in contact with skin of a user during use of the absorbent product. The nonwoven material includes non-absorbent and/or absorbent fibres. The fibres, at least on a surface arranged to be in contact with skin of a user during use of the absorbent product, have a coarseness of from 0.1 to 10 dtex, or from 0.5 to 7 dtex. The fibres and/or the nonwoven material is coated with a lubricating coating composition suitable for use in absorbent and/or hygiene products at least on a surface arranged to be in contact with skin of a user during use of the absorbent product. By the product including the nonwoven, wet friction can be reduced between the nonwoven and the skin of the user.

The present invention provides an absorbent article that suppresses acetaldehyde odor. This absorbent article is obtained by layering at least a liquid-permeable sheet, an absorbent body containing a water-absorbing resin, and a liquid-impermeable sheet in this order, wherein at least some of a hydrazide compound is present on the liquid-permeable sheet side with respect to the absorbent body.

Crimped fiber spunbond nonwoven webs / laminates

Nonwoven webs/nonwoven laminates for use in absorbent articles are disclosed. The nonwoven laminate includes a first nonwoven web with continuous spunbond crimped fibers and a second web joined to the first nonwoven web. A plurality of apertures extend through at least one of the first nonwoven web or the second web. The nonwoven web includes a plurality of continuous spunbond crimped fibers wherein a plurality of apertures extend through the nonwoven web.

ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING SUBSTRATES HAVING ZONAL TREATMENTS

The present disclosure is directed, in part, to an absorbent article comprising a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the liquid permeable topsheet and the liquid impermeable backsheet. The absorbent article may include a substantially laterally-extending separation element defining a visual front portion and a visual back portion on a wearer-facing surface of the absorbent article. The liquid permeable topsheet may include a first zone in the visual front portion that includes a first geometric treatment and a second zone in the visual back portion that includes a second geometric treatment.
