A disposable garment that prevents urine leakage, has superior appearance, and reduces reluctance of the wearer to wear the garment.

The disposable garment (1) comprises a torso band (21) comprising a torso band opening (21a); and a chassis (20) disposed on a lower side of the torso band (21); wherein the chassis (20) comprises a stretchable composite sheet, the stretchable composite sheet being a multi-layer structure comprising a first air permeable sheet (203), a second air permeable sheet (205), and a liquid diffusion fiber sheet (201) and a linear elastic body (202) disposed between the first air permeable sheet (203) and the second air permeable sheet (205), and the chassis (20) has stretchability that imparts a pressing force against a wearer.

Absorbent product comprising a nonwoven material

Absorbent product includes a nonwoven material arranged to be in contact with skin of a user during use of the absorbent product. The nonwoven material includes non-absorbent and/or absorbent fibres. The fibres, at least on a surface arranged to be in contact with skin of a user during use of the absorbent product, have a coarseness of from 0.1 to 10 dtex, or from 0.5 to 7 dtex. The fibres and/or the nonwoven material is coated with a lubricating coating composition suitable for use in absorbent and/or hygiene products at least on a surface arranged to be in contact with skin of a user during use of the absorbent product. By the product including the nonwoven, wet friction can be reduced between the nonwoven and the skin of the user.

CONFIGURABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING IMPROVED BODILY EXUDATE VISUALIZATION
20220362076 · 2022-11-17 ·

Configurable absorbent articles with improved bodily exudate visualization when viewing a wearer-facing surface are provided. The absorbent articles include a liquid permeable topsheet forming a portion of a wearer-facing surface of the absorbent article, a liquid permeable backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the liquid permeable topsheet and the liquid permeable backsheet. The wearer-facing surface exhibits a Delta C* of greater than about 24 and less than about 50 when the absorbent article is subjected to a Bodily Exudate Visualization Test.

Soft and Durable Nonwoven Web

A nonwoven web that contains a plurality of fibers formed from a polyolefm composition is provided. The polyolefin composition contains a rigid propylene polymer that has a relatively high melting temperature and modulus of elasticity, which can provide good strength and durability to the nonwoven web. The polyolefm composition also contains a ductile propylene polymer that has a relatively high melt flow index, which can help achieve relatively fine fibers that minimize the stiffness of the web. In addition to a rigid and ductile polymer, the polyolefin composition also contains a slip additive (e.g., fatty acid derivative). Among other things, such an additive can even further enhance the overall softness of the composition.

Fine Hollow Fibers having a High Void Fraction

A hollow fiber that extending along at least a portion of the fiber along a longitudinal axis thereof and is defined by an interior wall is provided. Through selective control over the manner in which it is formed, the present inventors have discovered that the hollow fiber can exhibit a unique combination of a high void fraction and small fiber size that makes it particularly suitable for use in certain applications, such as in nonwoven webs for absorbent articles.

CONTOURED FILM WITH MICRO-PROTRUSIONS

A polymeric film is provided, the film comprising one or more land portions that are substantially coplanar in a base plane and a plurality of distended portions separated from one another by the one or more land portions. The distended portions bow distally outward from the base plane. The polymeric film further comprises a plurality of annular micro-protrusions extending outward from the distal film surface, each protrusion having an apex. A portion of the plurality of annular micro-protrusions extends from each of the one or more land portions of the polymeric film and from each of the distended portions of the polymeric film.
