SETTING AND METHOD FOR SETTING A DECORATIVE ASSEMBLY
A setting (1), including, aligned along an axis for driving into a bed (8) of a piece of jewellery or timepiece (9), an upper body (15) including a first surface (2) to receive a component to be set (10), a setting element (4) to hold the component (10), and a lower body (16) including a second front surface (6), between which bodies (15; 16) a deformable area (7) is plastically deformable under the action of an axial driving force greater than a predetermined driving force, to bring the setting (1) into a stressed state wherein the deformable area (7) is irreversibly deformed and/or fractured, in the form of a clot radially pushing back a peripheral surface (3) of the setting (1) towards a lateral wall of the bed (8), or/and in the form of a fault radially pushing back the upper body (15) towards this lateral wall.
Jewelry setting
A jewelry snap setting for supporting a jewel and that includes a one-piece support member having a base portion having multiple sides and a plurality of elongated prongs with one extending from each respective side of the base portion. Each elongated prong includes contiguous respective proximal biasing and distal retaining portions. Each proximal biasing portion extends integrally from a respective side of the base portion, and at least said proximal biasing portion has an arcuate cross-section in a direction that is transverse to the longitudinal axis of the proximal biasing portion.

Brilliant Cut Gemstone Cluster
A brilliant cut gemstone cluster setting is provided which includes a faceted large round gemstone; a plurality of small round gemstones; and a cluster setting having a central round cavity receiving the faceted large round gemstone and a plurality of peripheral cavities surrounding the central round cavity with each peripheral cavity receiving one of the plurality of small round gemstones and being set at an angle relative to the central round cavity to cause the small round gemstone to simulate a crown angle of a brilliant cut stone, and the plurality of small round gemstones retaining the faceted large round gemstone. Also provided is a cluster setting for holding the gemstones.

Invisible setting and methods and tools for effecting same
A mounting holds a grooved gemstone invisibly to a setting. One end of the mounting has arms or extensions to receive the gemstone and protrusions extending inwardly from the arms to fit in the grooves of the gemstone, the mounting further comprising a holding configuration for holding the mounting to the setting. Insertion of the mounting into the setting may in one version distort the holding configuration and levers the arms to press harder into the groove.
Timepiece part, and method for producing such a timepiece part
A timepiece (1) having at least one colored transparent stone (10), and a support (20) with at least one opening (200) for receiving this colored transparent stone (10). The ratio between the height (h) and width (L) of the colored transparent stone (10) is less than 50% , and the support (20) is made from anodised titanium or anodised aluminium. Advantageously, the color of the colored transparent stone (10) in the timepiece (1) is enhanced by that of the support (20).

Article of jewelry with hidden near field communication (NFC) chip and metallic bezel substantially surrounding the NFC chip and uses thereof
An article of jewelry including a housing that permits passage of a near field communication signal, the housing characterized as having a lower layer joined to an upper layer; a near field communication (NFC) chip housed within the housing; a gemstone covering the upper layer of the housing; and a bezel substantially surrounding the outer perimeter of the housing and on a same plane as the NFC chip, wherein the bezel is formed from a highly electrically conductive material, further wherein the bezel permits near field communication with the NFC chip.
BLACK COMPONENT DECORATED WITH STONES AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A component for the internal parts or the movement for a timepiece or a piece of jewellery including a substrate partially coated with a black layer and decorated with at least one stone, the black layer including carbon nanotubes or aluminium oxide, the substrate being at least devoid of the black layer on the portion facing the stone. It also relates to the method for manufacturing this component for the timepiece or the piece of jewellery.
