A light-emitting jewelry piece includes a gemstone, a head, and a mounting. The head is configured to interconnect the gemstone to the mounting. The mounting is arranged to secure the light-emitting jewelry piece to a person or a personal adornment.

A prompting system in which articles such as charms on a charm bracelet are used to prompt a wearer to recall an item or to perform a behavior is disclosed. The user identifies one or more prompting articles from a library or collection of such items and reversibly attaches them to, for example, a bracelet. Throughout the day momentarily attending to the bracelet will remind the wearer of tasks to be accomplished or behaviors to be practiced or mentally practiced. The present invention provides customized jewelry designs for pendants, earrings bracelets, rings and other pieces of jewelry that display a specific time or specific calendar date on the piece of jewelry to commemorate a special time or calendar date. The piece of jewelry is invisibly divided into sixty segments and one or more sets comprised of two design elements are placed on the surface of the jewelry. The first design element of the one or more sets is positioned on the jewelry at one of the sixty segments and represents an hour hand of a clock. An interchangeable jewelry system forms a bracelet, necklace, earring, and/or ring jewelry piece. The interchangeable jewelry system comprises at least two jewelry strand sections, each having a central body located centrally between two end walls comprising oppositely attracting mating magnetic portions placed opposed to one another on the central body. The mating magnetic portions comprise a first portion having a depressed magnetic female rim extending to form a magnetic female cavity section and mating raised magnetic male rim extending to form a magnetic male raised section. The depressed magnetic female rim aligns with and receives the raised magnetic male rim to guide and seat the first and second magnetic portions together. Jewelry strand sections are interchangeably connected through the mating portions to form a jewelry piece. A pendant comprising: an anchor portion having a top flat portion, bottom flat portion and connector between and substantially perpendicular to the top flat portion and the bottom flat portion with a first end and a second end; at least one gemstone holder having a first side portion with a first protrusion and a second side portion with a second protrusion, an opening between the first side portion and the second side portion, a top portion in communication with the first side portion and the second side portion, wherein the anchor portion is received in the opening of each of the at least one gemstone holders to allow the gemstone holders to slide along the anchor portion; a first end rectangular support that is attached to a first end of the anchor portion; and a second end rectangular support that is attached to a second end of the anchor portion.

A wearable device allows women to track their menstrual cycle by rotating or sliding a marker that will tell her every day where she is in her menstrual cycle. This device can be shaped in multiple ways. In general, the device has two or more interlocking pieces that allow the user to manually move, e.g., rotate or slide, a marker shaped on one of the pieces with respect to the other piece to highlight indicia, such as a number or icon or color, that represents a day in the menstrual cycle. The indicia can be hidden within the design to protect the user's privacy. In one implementation, the device is attached to a chain, rope or other form allowing it to be worn around the neck, typically under the clothes, like a pendant. Another implementation is shaped like a bracelet, allowing it to be work around the wrist. Other configurations to be worn on other parts of the body also are possible.

Systems and methods are described for playing a game using a gestural gaming device. In an embodiment, the gestural gaming device includes a processor, a sensor, a communications transceiver, and a plurality of lighting elements. An application may be executed on a mobile device in communication with the gestural gaming device via the communications transceiver. The system may also include a back-end server in communication with the application over a network. The game may be played using the gestural gaming device in conjunction with one or more gestures, the game being managed by the application using the plurality of lighting elements. A winner of the game may be awarded a reward in response to winning the game from the back-end server via the gestural gaming device.
