Feminine Hygiene Article
Feminine hygiene articles are disclosed herein. The feminine hygiene articles described herein can provide easily discernable placement and orientation guides which reduce the likelihood of misapplication by the user, facilitated attachment guides which can reduce the likelihood of misapplication of the feminine pad and can also reduce the likelihood of improper attachment of the feminine pad to a panty. The feminine hygiene articles disclosed include wings which can provide cues on proper attachment of the article to the panty, and wing adhesive distributed in a way which can provide sustained coverage of the feminine hygiene article to the panty which reduces the likelihood that the pad will become detached during use.
DRESSING FOR STUMPS FOLLOWING AMPUTATION
An amputation dressing includes a wound contact layer that includes a central panel and three or more petals extending radially from the central panel. The wound contact layer also includes a tube of elastic material twisted to form a point. The point is located substantially centrally along a length of the tube. The tube of elastic material is coupled to the central panel proximate the point. The tube is rolled from a first end of the tube to the point to form a first roll and from a second end of the tube to the point to form a second roll.
Hygiene Pad
The present invention is a multi-layer hygiene pad infused with graphene.
Absorbent article
An absorbent article which can have a reduction in the incidence of side leakage of body exudates from the absorbent article. The absorbent article can have a topsheet layer, a backsheet layer, an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet layer and the backsheet layer, and a barrier composition positioned between the topsheet layer and the backsheet layer and bonding the topsheet layer to the backsheet layer.
SANITARY ARTICLE HAVING ASSYMMETRICAL FASTENING WINGS
The present disclosure relates to a sanitary article (1), such as a sanitary napkin or a pantiliner. The sanitary article (1) has a first fastening wing (9) extending at a first longitudinal side edge (5) and a second fastening wing (10) extending at a second longitudinal side edge (6), the first fastening wing (9) having a first wing maximum width (W.sub.fimax) and the second fastening wing (10) having a second wing maximum width (W.sub.f2mx). The first fastening wing (9) comprises a first adhesive region (12) on a garment facing side thereof and the second fastening wing (10) comprises a second adhesive region (13) on a garment facing side thereof, the first and the second adhesive regions (12,13) having a respective adhesive region maximum width (w.sub.aimax, W.sub.a2max). The first and the second adhesive region (12,13) are covered with a common release paper (14,140), the common release paper (14,140) having a width (w.sub.r), as seen in the transverse direction. The first and the second fastening wings (9,10) are arranged in a folded configuration onto the topsheet (2) in a non-overlapping manner. The first and second fastening wings (9,10) are asymmetrical with respect to any transverse and longitudinal axis and the width of the release paper (w.sub.r) is not more than 7 mm greater than the sum of the first and the second adhesive region maximum widths, W.sub.aimax + W.sub.a2max.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH FOLDABLE INSERT
An absorbent insert includes a first lateral end and a second lateral end; and an adjustable attachment area. The adjustable attachment area includes an adjustment portion and an engageable portion, wherein the adjustment portion is capable of attaching a first segment of the absorbent insert to a second segment of the absorbent insert and wherein the engageable portion is capable of attaching the absorbent insert to an outer cover.
DISPOSABLE HYGIENE ARTICLE WITH IMPROVED FIT
The present invention relates to a disposable hygiene article comprising first and second compression lines in a forward region of the article. The article has a core with a first area which has its narrowest width (M) in the transverse direction (x) in a front portion or at a location of a transition between the front portion and a crotch portion of the article. The absorbent core in the crotch portion comprises the first and second compression lines, which are separated from each other at their closest point by a minimum distance D1, measured in the transverse direction.
DISPOSABLE HYGIENE ARTICLE WITH IMPROVED FIT
The present invention relates to a disposable hygiene article comprising a pair of curved compression lines in a rear portion of the article. The article has a core with a first region which has its narrowest width (M) in the transverse direction (x) in a front portion or at a location of a transition between the front portion and a crotch portion of the article. The absorbent core in the rear portion comprises the first (L1, R1) and second (L2, R2) pairs of rear compression lines, which extend in a longitudinal direction (y) between respective front and rear endpoints. A transverse distance (G3min) separates the rear endpoints of the pair of compression lines whilst a second, larger distance (G3max) separates the front endpoints of the compression lines.
Absorbent article
An absorbent article includes: a main body (8) including a liquid permeable top sheet (3), a liquid impermeable back sheet (2), and an absorbent body (4) interposed between the top sheet and the back sheet; and a hip-holding portion (H), wherein the main body has a shape having a predetermined length in a front-back direction and a predetermined width in a direction orthogonal to the front-back direction, and wherein the hip-holding portion includes a side region protruding from a side of a rear portion of the main body, the side region including a first projection (41) that includes a portion having a largest width from a center line in the front-back direction of the main body, a first recess (51) that is located adjacent to and forward of the first projection, and a second projection (52) that is located adjacent to and forward of the first recess, and wherein the back sheet in the side region has a slip preventive portion for securing the absorbent article, the slip preventive portion being disposed so as to straddle, in the front-back direction, a virtual line that is drawn in the width direction from a bottom point of the first recess.
HYGIENIC PAD
The sanitary pad of the present invention includes: (i) a lower cover layer 10 including a straight type body 11 and wing parts 12; (ii) an absorbent pad layer 20 whose both sides are separated from the lower cover layer 10 and only central portion is adhered to the lower cover layer 10, wherein a distal end portion thereof is divided into two hemispherical protrusions 21 and 22; (iii) an upper cover layer 30 laminated on the absorbent pad layer 20; and (iv) side cover layers 40 whose both ends extend from upper edges on both sides of the upper cover layer 30 to both upper end portions of the cover layer 10 in the lateral direction thereof, and middle portions are inserted into a gap formed between the lower cover layer 10 and the separated both side portions of the absorbent pad layer 20.
