Method of manufacturing jewelry with artifacts such as cremation ashes embedded therein
A method includes the selection of a jewelry blank having a chamber for receiving a gem. The chamber is partially filled with a first layer of UV resin. Cremation remains are placed within the first layer of resin or on the surface of the first layer of resin. Then, UV light is used to cure the first layer of resin. A second layer of resin partially fills the remaining void and is cured. Diamond dust may be added to the top surface of the cured second layer. A final layer of protective resin is added into the remaining space of the chamber and cured to create the finished jewelry piece.
Method of creating a wood-based false stone
A method of creating a wood-based false stone for producing unique decorative cutouts and jewelry includes collecting a plurality of stems from a plant, cutting each of the plurality of stems to a uniform length, and debarking each of the plurality of stems. The debarked plurality of stems is then dyed, dried completely, and saturated with a resin. The saturated plurality of stems is placed in a mold and compressed. The compressed plurality of stems is removed from the mold and cut into a plurality of slices, each of which is in turn shaped into a plurality of cutouts.
Method for mounting a decorative element on a support and said support
The invention relates to a method for mounting at least one decorative element (3) on a support (2) comprising the steps of: a. taking a support (2) provided with at least one cavity (4); b. taking at least one decorative element (3); c. filling said cavity with a composite filler material comprising at least one metal powder and at least one organic binder and having, at the moment of filling, a viscosity comprised between 1,000 mPa.Math.s and 1,000,000 mPa.Math.s; d. heating the composite filler material to a higher temperature than its melting point to make it liquid; e. allowing the filler material to cool to form a substrate (6); f. making at least one housing (8) in said substrate (6); g. mounting said decorative element (3) in said housing (8). The present invention also concerns a decorative support (2) provided with at least one cavity (4) filled with said filler material forming a substrate (6) in which at least one housing (8) is formed, said housing (8) being arranged to receive said decorative element (3).
Multicolored flexible wearables and related methods
Multicolored flexible wearables include a first portion having a first flexible polymer forming a toroid and including colorant(s), an exposed first outer surface, an exposed second outer surface, and a recess in the first outer surface not reaching the second outer surface. A second portion formed of a second flexible polymer fills a majority of the recess and includes colorant(s). The first and second flexible polymers have different colors and are permanently bonded together. Precious material particles may be disposed within the first and/or second flexible polymers. One or more of the colorants may have a color matching a color of the precious material particles. One method of bonding the portions includes depositing a liquid second portion into the recess and then curing it. Another method includes depositing a solid second portion into the recess and then curing a liquid layer of polymer between the first portion and second portion.
Mourning and Memorial Jewelry and Methods of Manufacture
Mourning and memorial jewelry items and methods for manufacturing the same are described. The methods utilize metal implant materials from deceased individuals to create items of jewelry for retention and use by survivors. The overall method includes a planning process that discerns the type of metal implants available and identifies the type of jewelry desired. The planning process establishes a preferred method for manufacture, based on the size and shape of the available implant objects, as well as the desired item of jewelry. The jewelry items are either unitary pieces of jewelry or jewelry stones. The preferred method for transforming the implant object into the item of jewelry will involve machining, annealing or forging, and/or melting and casting. The preferred method is implemented and results in either the finished item of jewelry or a metallic stone that may be set into a jewelry setting.
TOOL AND METHOD FOR CREATING FASHION ACCESSORIES
A device comprising: (a) a body portion including: (i) a first end and ii. a second end; (b) a holder at the first end; (c) a holder at the second end; (d) a rotation device at the first end in communication with the holder at the first end; and wherein the holder is fixedly attached to a split gear having a channel therethrough so that one or more flexible mediums may be placed through the channel and removed from a work area located between the holder at the first end and the holder at the second end.
SILICONE METAL COMPOSITE RING
A metallic silicone combination ring, comprising a silicone ring and a metallic part. The silicone ring is equipped with a metallic joint, and the metallic part is a split ring, with at least two uniformly distributed connecting holes at both terminals of the metallic part, respectively; the inner wall of the metallic part is in contact with and connected to the outer wall of the metallic joint, and the silicone ring at the two terminals of the metallic joint is equipped with connecting posts that extend into the connecting holes. The combination and interconnectedness of the silicone ring and the metallic part constitute the structure of a closed circular ring, which not only improves the comfort of wearing during exercise and work, but also preserves the metallic texture, while ensuring the strength of the bonding of the silicone split ring and the metallic split ring.
Earring
An earring configured for insertion in an artificially-created cavity in a wearer's ear, such ear tissue cavity being bounded by a first hole in the ear tissue and a second hole opposite the first hole. The earring includes an earring post dimensioned to be inserted through at least the first hole of the ear tissue cavity. A first insulating component is associated with the earring post and is configured to at least partially enclose the first hole of the ear tissue cavity. A second insulating component is associated with the earring post and is configured to at least partially enclose the second hole, whereby, the first and second insulating components serve to improve maintenance of the temperature inside the ear tissue cavity by assisting in controlling heat loss from such cavity.
BRACELET AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A BRACELET
A bracelet including an upper strip and a lower strip forming at least one strand of the bracelet, the bracelet includes a flexible intermediate layer disposed between the upper strip and the lower strip, the flexible intermediate layer being formed by at least one encapsulated phase-change material having a transition temperature of between 0? C. and 40? C.
