Binary odor control system for absorbent articles
Cellulosic pulp structures integrating unreacted quantities of an inorganic peroxide and a destabilizing acid, as binary components of an odor control system, absorbent articles incorporating such structures, and various methods of forming the same, are disclosed herein. The components are adapted to react in the presence of an aqueous fluid to produce hydrogen peroxide, thereby providing an antimicrobial and odor mitigating effect.
Absorbent article
Absorbent article suppressing occurrence of malodor after use while preventing a rash on a wearer's skin. The absorbent article includes an absorbent body, and a fumaric acid-supported sheet disposed on a skin surface side of the absorbent body. The fumaric acid-supported sheet is a sheet which supports fumaric acid particles having an average particle diameter of 30 μm or less, and/or a sheet in which at least a part of constituent fibers is coated with fumaric acid. When being in contact with the body fluid or the like, fumaric acid is not immediately but slowly dissolved so that alkalization at the area around fumaric acid can be prevented over a long period of time. In addition, fumaric acid has an action of inhibiting proliferation of putrefactive bacteria and, therefore, can prevent occurrence of malodor from the absorbent article having absorbed the body fluid or the like.
ABSORBENT PAD FOR A GARMENT
An absorbent pad for use in a garment is disclosed. The absorbent pad includes a liquid impermeable barrier layer and a functional layer disposed adjacent to the barrier layer, the functional layer having a liquid absorbent component. The absorbent pad also includes a first attaching element coupled to a periphery of the functional layer and a periphery of the barrier layer; and a second attaching element having a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion coupled to the first attaching element. The second portion of the second attaching element is arranged to be attached to a fabric body of the garment, thereby attaching the absorbent pad to the garment. The absorbent pad is washable and reusable.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
[Problem] To provide an absorbent article further suppressing occurrence of malodor after absorbing body fluid.
[Solution] An absorbent article comprising a liquid permeable top sheet disposed on a skin surface side, a liquid impermeable back sheet disposed on an external surface side, and an absorbent body disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, wherein the absorbent body has a water absorbent layer including a water absorbent resin powder, fumaric acid is disposed at a position being able to be in contact with body fluid absorbed in the absorbent article, and a polyphenol compound is disposed closer to the skin surface side than the back sheet.
ABSORBENT PAD FOR A GARMENT
A garment having a fabric body and an absorbent pad attached to the fabric body is disclosed. The absorbent pad includes a liquid impermeable barrier layer and a functional layer attached to the barrier layer. The functional layer has a wicking component and a liquid absorbent component. The liquid absorbent component is disposed between the wicking component and the barrier layer. The absorbent pad is washable and reusable.
Articles comprising malodor reduction compositions
An absorbent article comprising a malodor reduction composition. The malodor reduction composition comprises a perfume mixture comprising about 5% to about 100%, by weight of said perfume mixture, of at least two perfume materials selected from the group consisting of terpinyl acetate, methyl iso-eugenol, phenyl acetaldehyde dimethyl acetal, and patchone.
SHAPED PERMEABLE MATERIAL COMPOSITE FOR USE IN AN ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A permeable material composite is provided for use in an absorbent article. The permeable material composite includes a permeable material layer that is a low-strength material layer and having a tensile strength of less than 3 N/mm. The permeable material layer has an edge having a contour and being a shaped edge providing the permeable material composite with a non-rectangular shape. The permeable material layer is reinforced along the shaped edge with a reinforcement material that is attached to the permeable material layer. The reinforcement material has a shaped outer edge having a contour that coincides fully or partly with the contour of the shaped edge of the permeable material layer.
Crown bottoms: disposable undergarments
The present invention is a disposable garment for alleviating unpleasant scents and bodily waste when worn by users. Disposable undergarments such as diapers and other similar garments can be a challenge to use when the garment has been soiled. Various applications of specially designed layers of material can be an effective tool when odors and excretion are unbearable. Garments that are manufactured to combat the difficult process of dealing with bodily waste is a benefit to the public; especially when excretion occurs unexpectedly.
ABSORBENT PAD FOR A GARMENT
The present disclosure generally relates to an absorbent pad for use in a garment. The absorbent pad includes: a liquid impermeable barrier layer; a functional layer attached to the barrier layer, the functional layer comprising a liquid absorbent component; a liquid impermeable peripheral sealing element bonded to peripheries of the functional layer and barrier layer; and a peripheral attaching element having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion bonded to the peripheral sealing element. The second portion of the peripheral attaching element is detached from the peripheral sealing element and is arranged to be attached to a fabric body of the garment, thereby attaching the absorbent pad to the garment.
Personal hygiene product
A personal hygiene product for maintaining dryness in the intergluteal cleft is provided. The personal hygiene product may include an absorbent substrate having a proximal end and a distal end, and a tether extending through the absorbent substrate, the tether having a first end and a second end, the first end extending past the absorbent substrate proximal end, the second end extending past the absorbent substrate distal end.
