Aromatherapy diffuser
An aromatherapy diffuser includes a diffuser body and a diffusion device. The diffuser body has an oil storage cavity for storing a predetermined amount of essential oil. The diffusion device is supported in the diffuser body, and includes an ultrasonic vibrator arranged to generate ultrasonic vibrations, in such a manner that when the diffusion body is partially immersed in the water stored in the container, the essential oil is released to the water from the oil storage cavity while the ultrasonic vibrator is arranged to cause ultrasonic vibrations in the water so as to agitate the water molecules for releasing negatively charged mist and essential oil into ambient air.
FRESHENING COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF ATOMIZING FRESHENING COMPOSITIONS WITH A THERMALLY-ACTUATED MICROFLUIDIC CARTRIDGE
A freshening composition and method of jetting a freshening composition from a microfluidic device are provided. The composition includes greater than 5 wt. % of solubilizing materials that are liquid at 20 C. Each of the solubilizing materials have a Hansen polarity parameter (p) of greater than 5 MPa0.5; a Hansen hydrogen-bonding parameter (h) of greater than 9 MPa0.5; and a vapor pressure of less than 267 Pa. The method includes heating the freshening composition with a thermal actuator and atomizing the heated composition from a nozzle in a direction that is from 0 degrees to 90 degrees from the direction of gravitational force.

OLFACTORY SIMULATION SYSTEM FOR HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAYS
An olfactory simulation system is adapted to attach to a virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) headset to disperse selected scent(s) to the user. The system utilizes a wireless microcontroller to rotate one of a cartridge housing and a base with respect to the other, making one of a plurality of available chambers carried by cartridge housing accessible, while keeping the other chambers carried by the cartridge housing substantially sealed from ambient air. A cartridge carried within the chamber carries a scented material. A fan arranged near the cartridge housing diffuses the selected scent near, but spaced apart from, the user's nose at varying intervals, based on a desired strength.
Freshening compositions and methods of atomizing freshening compositions with a thermally-actuated microfluidic cartridge
A freshening composition and method of jetting a freshening composition from a microfluidic device are provided. The composition includes greater than 5 wt. % of solubilizing materials that are liquid at 20? C. Each of the solubilizing materials have a Hansen polarity parameter (?p) of greater than 5 MPa0.5; a Hansen hydrogen-bonding parameter (?h) of greater than 9 MPa0.5; and a vapor pressure of less than 267 Pa. The method includes heating the freshening composition with a thermal actuator and atomizing the heated composition from a nozzle in a direction that is from 0 degrees to 90 degrees from the direction of gravitational force.
