The tilt adjuster is configured to communicatively couple with the defibrillator system, receive a control signal indicative of a target tilt angle from the local computing device, and automatically tilt the patient support section, around a transverse axis, to the target tilt angle in response to the control signal from the local computing device. The system also includes a chest compression device mount disposed on the patient support section and configured to adjustably secure a chest compression device to the patient support section.

A face cushion includes a hollow-out portion located at a central portion of the face cushion; an inflatable portion having an inner peripheral edge located adjacent to the hollow-out portion, an outer peripheral edge, and two slit edges located between the inner and the outer peripheral edge, with an area between the inner and the outer peripheral edge being divided into a first and a second air bag; a slit section formed between the two slit edges; and a plurality of inflating connections separately connected to the first and the second air bag. The first and the second air bag are inflated alternately with gas supplied from a gas supply device to the inflatable body via different pipelines at different time points to produce on the face cushion a facial configuration similar to a patient's face, allowing different parts of the patient's face to contact with the face cushion intermittently.

A cervical traction assembly for use with a patient support apparatus includes an adjustment carriage track member including a connecting bracket assembly that releasably connects to a mount support member of the patient support apparatus. The adjustment track member includes a track body including a pair of opposing sidewalls that are spaced-apart from each other to define an elongated channel therebetween. Each sidewall includes a guide track that extends along a length of the respective sidewall. A rope angle adjustment carriage is located within the channel. The rope angle adjustment carriage includes a first track engagement member that is received by one of the guide tracks of one of the sidewalls and a second track engagement member that is received by another of the guide tracks of another of the sidewalls. The first track engagement member has a locked configuration that inhibits movement of the rope angle adjustment carriage.
