A face cushion includes a hollow-out portion located at a central portion of the face cushion; an inflatable portion having an inner peripheral edge located adjacent to the hollow-out portion, an outer peripheral edge, and two slit edges located between the inner and the outer peripheral edge, with an area between the inner and the outer peripheral edge being divided into a first and a second air bag; a slit section formed between the two slit edges; and a plurality of inflating connections separately connected to the first and the second air bag. The first and the second air bag are inflated alternately with gas supplied from a gas supply device to the inflatable body via different pipelines at different time points to produce on the face cushion a facial configuration similar to a patient's face, allowing different parts of the patient's face to contact with the face cushion intermittently.

Proning frame headrest tilt indicators

A head rest accessory is provided for coupling to a bed frame of a hospital bed. The head rest accessory includes a frame and a head rest mount coupled to the frame. A head rest is coupled to the head rest mount and includes a face rest shell. A first angle sensor measures a first tilt angle of the face rest shell. A second angle sensor measures a second tilt angle of the face rest shell.

Head support for patient intubation

Support assemblies for supporting the head of a patient during rotation are described. A head support can be tilted so as to orient a patient for intubation. For example, the head support may include a tilt frame that is configured to position a patient's airway automatically and efficiently to an orientation suitable for patient airway intubation. In some embodiments, a tilt frame may allow for automatic positioning of a patient's airway to a predetermined orientation generally deemed suitable for patient airway intubation and allow for easy adjustment of the angle of the tilt frame so as to particularly orient an individual patient's airway as needed for a medical procedure.
