Expandable base plate for knee positioner
An expandable plate configured to expand and to hold, move and maintain a body part in a specific position as needed in orthopedic surgery. The expandable plate has a bed with a guide assembly formed in a top surface configured to fit to cavity assembly of a track so as to slide in relation thereto. A carriage unit can be positioned on the track to hold a body part in a specific position, whereby when an additional linear dimension is required for a surgical procedure, the track can be expanded to extend the body part to the predetermined position using the same positioner device.
Adjustable position limb support for surgical tables, including quick-connect universal boot mount
A surgical boot mount for mounting a surgical boot to a support rod of a limb holder, the surgical boot mount comprising: a projection having a first section and a second section, wherein the first section is attached to the sole of the surgical boot, wherein the first section comprises a first diameter and the second section comprises a second diameter, and further wherein the second diameter is larger than the first diameter; and a releasable locking mechanism mounted to the support rod of the limb holder, wherein the releasable locking mechanism comprises a first key comprising a first keyway and a second key comprising a second keyway, wherein the second key is slidably connected to the first key, wherein the first key is biased away from the second key, wherein the first keyway and the second keyway overlap to form an opening at least as large as the second diameter when an inwardly-directed force is applied to the first key so as to overcome the bias, and further wherein the opening is reduced to a size smaller than the second diameter when the inwardly-directed force is released from the first key.
Surgical Positioner
In general, various surgical patient positioners and methods for using the same are provided. For example, a surgical patient support is provided for use during anterior hip replacement surgery. The surgical patient support can have a body support configured to receive an upper body of a patient thereon and one or more extremity supports configured to receive one or more patient extremities thereon.
Patient Securement System for the Surgical Trendelenburg Position
A patient securing overlay is provided that includes a sheet of fabric for supporting a patient's torso on a surgical table. The sheet of fabric has an upper surface configured to face the patient and a lower surface configured to face a surgical table mattress or underbody support. The sheet of fabric includes friction enhancing elements applied to at least a portion of the upper surface thereof. The sheet of fabric can include an extension at a foot end of the sheet of fabric that provides material to be tucked under a foot end of the surgical table mattress or underbody support for securing the foot end of the sheet of fabric to the surgical table mattress or underbody support. The extension can include one or more friction enhancing elements.

SURGICAL FRAME AND METHOD FOR USE THEREOF FACILITATING ARTICULATABLE SUPPORT FOR A PATIENT DURING SURGERY
An adjustable surgical frame for supporting a patient to facilitate different surgical approaches to the spine of the patient includes a first end, an opposite second end, and a length extending between the first and second ends thereof. The surgical frame has a longitudinal axis extending between the first and second ends along the length thereof, and includes a first support surface, a second support surface, and a third support surface. The surgical frame also includes an adjustable chest support, an adjustable hip and upper leg support, and an adjustable feet and lower leg support. The surgical frame is moveable between a first position, a second position, and a third position, and the chest support, the hip and upper leg support, and the feet and lower leg support are moveable to accommodate differently sized patients on the surgical frame.
Surgical table for direct anterior surgical approach of the hip
Surgical table for providing hyperextension of the hip joint during direct anterior approach without need for lowering the distal end of the operating table. The attachment will allow external rotation as well as adduction for better exposure of the proximal end of the femur. It further allow for motorized traction of the lower extremity controlled by the operating surgeon. The inventive device conveniently incorporates a femoral elevator mechanism that will raise the proximal end of the femoral bone for better visualization through the surgical wound and easier reaming of the femoral canal.

Surgical leg positioner
A surgical leg positioner capable of bending the knee in varus or valgus while simultaneously distracting the tibia from the femur, the leg positioner having a thigh clamp module, a swing arm module connected to the thigh clamp module in a manner that offsets a joint axis laterally to the side of the knee of the patient so as not to damage the opposite compartment of the knee when bent in varus or valgus. The swing arm module also distracts the knee simultaneously when the knee is bent in varus or valgus. The swing arm module also permits flexion and extension of the knee at the knee's natural flexion-extension axis. The surgical leg positioner also utilizes a thigh brace that properly aligns the leg on the surgical leg positioner.
