Separable Quad Cane Assembly and Method of Nesting and Packaging the Same
A package (200) for a selectively separable quad cane assembly can include an enclosed rectangular box (500), with a front face (201) defining an aperture (224) that is centrally located along a height (225) of the front face and offset from a medial line (227) defined by the front face. An upper face (205) can define a two-sided aperture (222) at a corner of the upper face, while a lower face (206) defines a peninsular aperture (221) that is centrally located along an edge (223) of the lower face. In the package, the aperture can concentrically circumscribe an a cane-receiving conduit (125) of a quadspider (221) of the cane, while an apex (501) of a gooseneck (108) of the cane is aligned with the two-sided aperture of the upper face and the lower leg is aligned with the peninsular aperture of the lower face.
Device and display package assembly
Disclosed is an assembly that comprises a user mobility device and a display package. The user mobility device comprises a handle region covered by a handle cover. The display package provided with a hanging panel having a hang tab region that extends past the handle region of the user mobility device and having a hanging aperture and a boundary that defines an open region proximal to handle region of the user mobility device to permit manual grasping of the handle region without the necessity to remove the user mobility device from the display package.
Walking and sock assisting device
A walking and sock assisting device comprising a lower portion and an upper portion. The lower portion comprises a left prong, a right prong, and a lower stem. The left prong comprises a left sock end, a left base, and a left stem end. The right prong comprises a right sock end, a right base, and a right stem end. The upper portion comprises a handle and an upper stem. The left stem end is coupled to the lower stem. The right stem end is coupled to the lower stem. The left sock end and the right sock end are configured to accept a sock. The left sock end and the right sock end are configured to expand the sock to allow a wearer to place a foot into the sock.
Walking And Sock Assisting Device

The left prong comprises a left sock end, a left base, and a left stem end. The right prong comprises a right sock end, a right base, and a right stem end. The upper portion comprises a handle and an upper stem. The left stem end is coupled to the lower stem. The right stem end is coupled to the lower stem. The left sock end and the right sock end are configured to accept a sock. The left sock end and the right sock end are configured to expand the sock to allow a wearer to place a foot into the sock.
Folding Cane
A folding cane with a first shaft member, a second shaft member, a third shaft member, a handle member, a foot member, a first hinge, a second hinge, a first hinge lock assembly and a second hinge lock assembly is disclosed. The handle member is attached to the top of the first shaft member. The first hinge member connects the first shaft member to the second shaft member. The second hinge member connects the second shaft member to the third shaft member. The foot member is attached to the bottom of the third shaft member. The hinge lock assemblies are capable of automatically locking the hinges when the folding cane is deployed to the use position and each hinge lock assembly includes a spring biased slide tab allowing a user to unlock the hinge lock assemblies when wanting to fold the cane into a compact stored configuration.
Orthotic device
An orthotic device for assisting a user in walking includes an underarm support assembly configured to support a user's weight without damage to their nerves, and upright support pivotally connected to the underarm support assembly and a ground engaging assembly pivotally connected to the upright support. In one embodiment, the underarm support assembly is spring biased relative to the upright support to bias the upright support to an orientation substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal dimension of the underarm support. The ground engaging assembly is also biased to bias the ground engaging assembly to a position perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the upright support while allowing the ground engaging assembly to pivot about an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal dimension of the upright support and about an axis parallel to the longitudinal dimension of the upright support.
Beach umbrella tool
The beach umbrella tool comprises a T-shaped armature with an auger blade surrounding the bottom portion of a vertical main armature. A bearing at the top of the main armature may be held with one hand while the other hand is used to move a handle located at the end of a horizontal armature in circular motion. The resulting rotation of the T-shaped armature causes the auger blade to rotate and thereby remove sand from the beach beneath the beach umbrella tool. The bottom of a beach umbrella may be placed into the resulting hole.
Crutch
Embodiments of crutches are disclosed. A crutch has a main body having a substantially vertical tubular member with a plurality of apertures formed therein; an angled portion extending upwardly from the substantially vertical tubular member; an arm rest support extending perpendicularly from the angled portion for receiving an arm rest; and a handle extending outwardly from the arm rest support. The crutch further includes a leg telescopically received into the substantially vertical tubular member, and a foot exchangably received by the leg.
