REHABILITATION DEVICES PROVIDING LOCOMOTION TRAINING AND METHOD OF USE
In various embodiments, provided herein are systems, methods, processes, and devices for providing locomotive rehabilitation to a subject via one or more gait motions that substantially accurately mimic motions performed in healthy, natural gait cycles. The system may mimic natural gait motions via footplates and handles, and one or more linkage systems. In particular embodiments, the system may further include a motor unit and/or clutch for providing controlled forces assisting or resisting motions of a linkage system. Further, the system may include a tower for operating in a standing or seated position. In at least one embodiment, the system includes a body weight support system that provides offloading forces to a subject.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO ENABLE COMMUNICATION DETECTION BETWEEN DEVICES AND PERFORMANCE OF A PREVENTATIVE ACTION
A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes determining whether one or more messages have been received from at least one of an electromechanical machine, a sensor, and an interface. Then the one or more messages may pertain to at least one of a user and a usage of the electromechanical machine by the user. The electromechanical machine may be configured to be manipulated by the user while the user is performing a treatment plan. The method also includes, responsive to determining that the one or more messages have not been received, determining, using one or more machine learning models, one or more preventative actions to perform. The method also includes causing the one or more preventative actions to be performed.
MOBILE WALKING AND TRANSPORT AID DEVICE
What is shown and described is a mobile walking and transport aid device (1) for supporting particularly persons with impaired walking ability, with a chassis (2) with wheels (3, 4) and with two outer lateral supports (5, 6), which are fixed to the chassis (2) as supporting elements for a user of the device (1). According to the invention, a provision is made that the lateral supports (5, 6) are attached to the chassis (2) such that they can be swiveled about a horizontal axis from a first, backwardly tilted position for pushing the walking and transport aid device (1) from behind and/or for supporting the user while walking inside and/or behind the walking and transport aid device (1) and/or for the user to sit on the walking and transport aid device (1) into at least one forwardly tilted position for pulling the walking and transport aid device (1) from the front.
METHOD FOR OPERATING MASSAGE APPARATUS COMPRISING UV STERILIZATION MODULE
The present disclosure relates to a massage apparatus comprising a UV sterilization module, the massage apparatus comprising: a main frame which forms a framework of the massage apparatus and includes an upper frame and a base frame; a seat pad or a back pad formed on the upper frame, for improving the sitting comfort of a user; arm massage portions formed at opposite sides of the main frame and massaging the arms of the user; the UV sterilization module for sterilizing and disinfecting at least a part of the seat pad, the back pad, or the arm massage portions; a controller for controlling operations of the massage apparatus; and at least one human body sensor which executes a first confirmation for determining whether the user is adjacent to the massage apparatus, wherein the controller, when the user is not adjacent to the massage apparatus, sterilizes the massage apparatus for a preset time period by using the UV sterilization module.
Reciprocating rollator
A rollator having a first side frame and a second side frame; the first side frame comprising a first side frame intervening structural portion; the second rolling side frame comprising a second side frame intervening structural portion; a central platform having a first platform side and a second platform side; and first and second track mechanisms respectively coupling the first and second side portions to the first and second platform sides of the central platform; the first and second track mechanisms permitting independent movement of said first and second side frames relative to said central platform.
Foldable walker device
A foldable walker device includes a front frame and a rear frame. The front frame and the rear frame are pivotally connected with each other and can be relatively folded and unfolded. A seat board bridged between the front frame and the rear frame. At least one link, a front end of the link is pivotally connected with the seat board, a rear end of the link is pivotally disposed on the rear frame. When folding the walker device, the rear end of the seat board is lifted, whereby the link pivotally connected with the seat board drives the rear frame to move forward and get closer to the front frame. Under such circumstance, the walker device is folded into a minimum volume so as to minimize the room occupied by the walker device. This facilitates the storage and transfer of the walker device.
BATH MASSAGE CHAIR AND PILLOW
A bath massage chair includes a pillow, a back support configured to support a torso of the user when the user is seated in the bath massage chair, and a seat coupled to the lower portion of the back support. The pillow includes a pillow massage system and a pillow heating element configured to heat the pillow. The back support includes an upper portion coupled to the pillow and a lower portion opposite the upper portion, a back massage system configured to massage the torso of the user, and a back heating element configured to heat the back support. The seat is configured to support a lower body of the user when the user is seated in the bath massage chair. The pillow massage system, pillow heating element, back massage system, and back heating element are operably coupled to a controller.
Systems and methods for coordinating musculoskeletal and cardiovascular or cerebrovascular hemodynamics
Described herein are methods for determining a target musculoskeletal activity cycle (MSKC) to cardiac cycle (CC) timing relationship. The method may include detecting a signal responsive to a cyclically-varying arterial blood flow at a location on a head of a user; providing a recurrent prompt at a frequency of the heart pump cycle using the signal, such that the signal correlates with a magnitude of blood flow adjacent to the location, and the recurrent prompt is provided to guide the user to time performance of a component of a rhythmic musculoskeletal activity with the recurrent prompt; and guiding the user to adjust a timing of the component of the rhythmic musculoskeletal activity to substantially maximize a magnitude of the signal. In some embodiments, the method further includes generating the recurrent prompt by amplifying the sound generated by the blood flow in or in proximity to an ear of the user.
Walker apparatus
A foldable walker having an arcuate front and rear leg frames pivotably connected by a hinge which permits the two leg frames to covert from an open configuration, with the front wheels engaging the ground and spaced a first distance from the rear wheels, to a folded configuration with the front wheels closer to the rear wheels. The walker includes a seat which can convert from a horizontal seat position to a vertical backrest position, and a height adjustable and pivotable foot rest.
Mobility assistive device and connecting structure for mobility assistive device
A mobility assistive device includes a first frame including a first support and a first wheel, a second frame including a second support and second wheels, and a connecting structure including first connecting boards connected to the first support. The second support includes a supporting rod and abutting portions. Each first connecting board has a slot for being engaged with the supporting rod, an abutting surface for abutting against the abutting portions, and a perforation. Each positioning member is disposed on one the second support, and includes a positioning portion. When the slots are engaged with the supporting rod and the abutting surfaces are abutted against the abutting portions, the positioning portions are movable between a locked position and a released position. When in the locked position, the positioning portions are inserted into the perforations. When in the released position, the positioning portions are drew out from the perforations.
