SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FACILITATING CARDIAC REHABILITATION AMONG ELIGIBLE USERS
A computer-implemented method for facilitating cardiac rehabilitation among eligible users is disclosed. The method includes the steps of (1) receiving health information associated with one or more users; (2) for each user of the one or more users: determining, based on health information associated with the user, a respective eligibility of the user for cardiac rehabilitation; (3) determining, based on the respective eligibilities, that at least one user of the one or more users is eligible for cardiac rehabilitation; (4) generating a treatment plan for the at least one user, where the treatment plan pertains to a cardiac rehabilitation that is specific to the at least one user; and (5) assigning the treatment plan to at least one electromechanical machine to enable the user to perform the cardiac rehabilitation.
Lumbar herniated disc treatment device
A lumbar herniated disc treatment device includes an upright post, a rail vertically mounted on the upright post, a chest fixing device up-and-down, slidably mounted on the rail, a lumbar traction and torsion device up-and-down slidably mounted on the rail and positioned below the chest fixing device, and a waist massage device up-and-down slidably mounted on the rail and positioned between the chest fixing device and the lumbar traction and torsion device.
Seated inversion chair and method of treating migraine headaches
An inversion chair and the method of treatment are provided to assist a user in the treatment and prevention of migraine headaches by increasing and altering the blood flow within the head. The inversion chair includes a frame having a first and a second side connected to each other by a fixed backrest. The sides of the frame have L-shaped configurations comprising upstanding side and base sections that are connected by a curved member. A rotatable seat is positioned between the sides of the frame. The chair is adapted to transition between a standard sitting position to an inverted position. The chair comprises an upper user support bar and a lower leg support bar for maintaining a user within the chair during inverted use. The support bar is removable and used to either secure the lap of the individual when inverted, or support the chair when in an upright state.
LIFT TRANSFER APPARATUS
A lift transfer device for disabled people includes a wheeled chassis having a column with a bottom end attached to the chassis and a top end including an arm rest. A winch is provided that is supported by the chassis and/or the column. The winch includes a tow rope having a distal end and a hook disposed at the distal end of the tow rope. The tow rope runs through one or more guide rings disposed on the column and the arm rest. A harness is provided that is worn by a user of the lift transfer device. The hook on the tow rope may be connected to a pulling loop on the harness, the winch facilitates a lifting of the user as the tow rope is retracted by the winch and a lowering of the user as the tow rope is paidout by the winch.
Therapeutic Fluid Apparatuses And Methods Of Using The Same
Fluid therapy, for example including spray water at along a user's body, have been found to provide various advantages both as a medical therapeutic technique for treating various physical ailments as well as to improve comfort of a user generally. Embodiments provide therapeutic fluid apparatus(es) and methods of using said therapeutic fluid apparatus(es). One example therapeutic fluid apparatus includes fluid outlets at particular positions of the apparatus to enable spraying of a fluid drawn from the environment around the apparatus at particular points along a user. Some embodiment therapeutic fluid apparatus(es) are removable from the environment(s) from which they draw fluid for use, such that the therapeutic fluid apparatus(es) can be positioned within such environment(s) without permanently altering the environment and/or otherwise affixing the therapeutic fluid apparatus within the environment. Some such therapeutic fluid apparatus(es) are similarly constructed of lightweight materials to facilitate portability of the therapeutic fluid apparatus(es).
APPARATUS AND SYSTEMS FOR SYNCHRONIZING A USER TO AN EXOSKELETON
Embodiments of an apparatus and systems for assisting mobility of a person comprise an exoskeleton device; and one or more straps extending between a first leg of the exoskeleton device and a second leg of the exoskeleton device, the one or more straps configured to reduce slumping of a user seated in the exoskeleton when the exoskeleton is in a sitting position.
External Structural Brace Apparatus
An external structural brace apparatus for supporting a user in a semi standing position on a surface includes first and second support extension beams that to attach to the surface, also included is a channel having a base with first and second legs, wherein the first and second legs extend in the same direction from opposing sides of the base, the first leg is affixed to the first support structure and the second leg is affixed to the second support structure, the channel can be lockably positioned along the first and second beams. In addition, a saddle seat with a midpoint extension portion, the saddle is attached between the first and second legs and positioned such that the midpoint extension extends opposite of the base, wherein operationally the user partially rests their buttocks on the saddle and leans their back against the base to assume a semi supported standing posture.
Mobile body unweighted sit and stand chair assembly and method of operation
A mobile body unweighted sit and stand chair assembly prevents repetitive stress from sitting, standing, and lifting objects for long periods. The assembly provides a vertically, rotatably, and pivotally adjustable seat, a restrictive support padding that rotates from a support bracket to selectively support the spine or the pelvis, and a frame for structural integrity, mobility, and steering. The seat supports the buttocks and the ischium region of the pelvis, tilting forward up to 35 degrees to abut the pelvis against the support padding. This forward position maintains the spine in a straight posture and forces open posterior intervertebral disc space. The seat is supported by an adjustable rod that supports the weight of user while sitting, walking, kneeling, or lifting. A frame includes wheels that enable mobility and a brake. A first bracket enables feet to steer for hands-free maneuverability. A second bracket provides balance during kneeling and lifting.
TRAINING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING FORCE
Provided is a training device that suppresses unintended operation of an operation rod when executing an operation mode in which the operation of the operation rod is controlled based on a force applied to the operation rod. The training device includes the operation rod, a motor, a force detection unit, a rotation information output sensor, a first command calculation unit, and a force correction unit. The operation rod moves a limb. The motor operates the operation rod in a direction of degree of freedom. The force detection unit detects a force component and outputs a force component signal. The rotation information output sensor detects an operation position of the operation rod in a corresponding direction of degree of freedom. The force correction unit calculates a corrected force component value based on the operation positions of the operation rod and the force component signal. The first command calculation unit calculates a first motor control command based on the corrected force component value.
