A compression therapy device may include a wearable article having independently inflatable and deflatable sealed cells. The location of the sealed cells in the article may be tailored to the anatomy of the device user. A method of providing the therapy device may include measuring one or more anatomical areas on the patient where compression is desired, providing the measurement to a device provider, and receiving an article having multiple sealed cells localized at the one or more anatomical areas. A method of manufacturing the therapy device may include receiving a measurement of an anatomical feature of a patient and determining a configuration of seals to be incorporated in a template article. The configuration may result in the sealed cells providing a pressure on the patient's anatomical feature.

A Leg Muscle Therapy Apparatus is provided which enables the user to easily and comfortably engage the various muscles of the leg, providing the leg muscles with a therapeutic message which helps to loosen and relieve sore or damages muscles. The apparatus may also be used to assist in the removal of cellulite from areas of the leg. The apparatus is basically comprised of a frame structure means, a user engagement means, a coupling means, and an optional resistance means. The frame structure means has at least two main support members coupled together in such a manner that the leg of the user may be placed within, with the main support members surrounding a significant portion of the leg. The main support members are adjustably coupled together by the coupling means such that they may alternatively move away and towards one another, as the various leg muscles of the user are being engaged by the user engagement means. The optional resistance means may be used to provide motion resistance.

There is disclosed a mobility aid for use by a user having a lower body amputation site. The mobility aid includes a lower body exoskeleton (LBE). The LBE has a pelvic support structure and a first leg and a second leg. Each of the first and second legs are movably coupled to the pelvic support structure, wherein at least the first and second legs are selectively actuable to move the lower body exoskeleton relative to a surface on which the mobility aid is positioned. The LBE also includes a carrier selectively positionable with respect to the lower body exoskeleton and, which in use, supports the user at or about an amputation site; and a harness system configured to, when in use, secure the user to the lower body exoskeleton.

Back brace with repositionable pressure nodules

A system of placeable and removable pressure nodules is provided having different types of size and configuration and having a density semi-soft, to rigid. The nodules are removably attachable and affixable into a back brace modified and adapted to implement SMRT. Precise, specialized, and individualized pressure is provided to the muscles, tendons, and connective tissues through the nodules in order to alleviate any need for manual massage. The user's own active motions (bending, twisting, walking) engages the muscles and massage the muscles with the pressure nodules.

CPR CHEST COMPRESSION DEVICE WITH LATERAL SUPPORT PAD

A cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) device comprising a chest compression mechanism, a support structure, and a plurality of inflatable support pads. The chest compression is mechanism configured to deliver CPR chest compressions to a patient. The support structure comprises a base member configured to be placed underneath a patient, and a leg configured to support the chest compression mechanism at a distance from the base member. The plurality of inflatable support pads are disposed at a junction between the leg and the base member. The plurality of inflatable support pads are configured to provide lateral support to a patient's chest during use of the CPR device.

THERAPEUTIC ROLLER DEVICE
20190110947 · 2019-04-18 ·

An improved therapeutic roller device comprising a cylindrical core and roller members originating from said cylindrical core. The roller members are separated, from each other, by a distance that is intended to generate lateral stretch on a muscle or other soft tissue. The amount of lateral stretch placed on a muscle, or other soft tissue, is proportional to the distance between roller elements up to a maximum distance at which lateral stretch can no longer be achieved. The diameter of the roller members determines the amount of longitudinal stretch placed on a muscle or other soft tissue. Additional longitudinal stretch is attained by ribbing of the roller members so that the roller members have projections. The length of the projections and distance between subsequent projections determine the extent of additional longitudinal stretch that can be placed on a muscle or other soft tissue.

External vacuum tissue expander with slidable rim

A tissue expander configured to be worn by a user having a shell having an aperture formed within the shell to receive tissue expanded by a distracting force. The shell has a skirt providing a skin contact surface area against the skin of the patient, the aperture defining an aperture surface area, wherein the skin contact surface area is greater than the aperture surface area, and wherein the skirt is non-fixedly attached to the skin of the patient and slides laterally outwardly.

Apparatus and method for spinal alignment therapy
