The present invention provides a cartridge for the preparation of a liquid pharmaceutical or nutraceutical formulation, the cartridge being adapted for insertion into a mixing vessel and for dispensing at least three flowable pharmaceutical or nutraceutical compositions into said mixing vessel, the cartridge comprising a container portion, a cover portion and an opening means, or more specifically an opening means of the container portion, for opening the cartridge, preferably after its insertion into the mixing vessel, wherein the container portion comprises a container wall and a container base, the container wall and the container base defining an inner lumen and an opening of the container portion, the opening being positioned opposite to the container base, and a segmenting structure located in the inner lumen of the container portion and being physically connected to the container wall and/or to the container base such as to divide the inner lumen of the container portion into at least three segments containing the at least three flowable pharmaceutical or nutraceutical compositions.

Connection assembly for conducting a medical liquid

A connection assembly for conducting a medical liquid, comprising a connection piece, an attachment part attached to the connection piece; an opening into which the connection piece engages; and a seal element for sealing a passage between the connection piece and the attachment part. The seal element is held between the attachment part and the connection piece and has a sealing head, which closes the opening of the attachment part against the passage of liquid when the attachment part is attached to the connection piece, and a body, which adjoins the sealing head and which can be arranged in the opening at a radial distance to the attachment part.

Pediatric dosing dispenser

A package that is configured to store and dispense fluids. The package includes a container and a dosing dispenser for closing an opening to the container. The dosing dispenser includes a body portion having a syringe receiver that is configured to receive a syringe to remove fluid from the container.

IMPROVED NEEDLE VALVE AND CONNECTORS FOR USE IN LIQUID TRANSFER APPARATUSES

The invention is a needle valve comprising at least one hollow needle and a seat. The hollow needle is comprised of a smooth surfaced hollow shaft and a port adapted to allow fluid communication between the interior and the exterior of said needle located in the side of the shaft at the distal end close to the tip of said needle. The seat comprises at least one bore adapted to accommodate one of the at least one needles through it. The needle and the bore can move one relatively to the other and the bore is provided in, or is fitted with, resilient material such that the outer diameter of the needle is greater than the inner diameter of at least part of the bore. As a result the passage of the shaft of the needle in the bore creates a closely-matched shaft and sheath, which blocks the passage of fluid through the port.

FEEDING SYSTEM FOR TREATING LIQUID MEDICAL WASTE
20210393483 · 2021-12-23 ·

The present disclosure discloses a feeding system for treating liquid medical waste. The feeding system comprises a receiving container for storing liquid medical waste and a feeding container for accommodating a coagulant. The feeding container comprises an outlet and a seal for closing the outlet, and the receiving container comprises a feeding connector with a feeding channel. The feeding container and the receiving container are provided with a guide mechanism comprising guide lugs and guide slots, and the feeding connector is provided with a plurality of splitting portions arranged along the circumferential direction of the feeding channel and spaced apart from each other by a certain distance. The guide mechanism allows the operation of rotating the feeding container by a predetermined angle relative to the receiving container, and this operation causes the splitting portions to cut the seal along the circumference of the feeding channel to destruct the seal, thereby causing the coagulant accommodated in the feeding container flows into the receiving container through the outlet. The present disclosure provides a safe and convenient operation manner for adding a coagulant into a storage container of liquid medical waste.

RECONSTITUTION DEVICE AND METHOD OF RECONSTITUTION

The present disclosure relates to a reconstitution device for reconstituting a medicament, the reconstitution device comprising: a base, a carrier movably arranged on the base, and a mount for a medicament container, wherein the mount is movably arranged on the carrier.

FLUID COUPLINGS

Some fluid coupling devices described herein are configured for use in fluid systems for purposes of providing a sterile connection for drug delivery. In some embodiments, the fluid coupling devices can be implemented as multi-use, sterile fluid coupling devices that are configured to reduce the likelihood of fluid spillage when being disconnected.
