A substance, which is in principle insoluble in a cosmetic or dermatological anhydrous preparation is converted into a powdery product by absorption onto a carrier, the powdery product being soluble in the preparation. The anhydrous preparations comprise one or more hydrophilic substances or substance mixtures which are liquid, pasty at room temperature and/or meltable up to a temperature of 150 C. and which are absorbed on one or more particulate carriers. The hydrophilic substance or substance mixture in itself is insoluble or sparingly soluble in the preparation and the carriers are characterized by a particle size ranging from 5 nm to 2 mm, a tamped density of between 50 kg/m.sup.3 and 1400 kg/m.sup.3 and a spherical, fibrous, flocculated and/or sponge-like particulate form.

In various implementations, a dental hygiene system may include a dental powder. The dental powder may be basic. The dental powder may include one or more compounds comprising calcium and/or magnesium. The dental powder may include one or more probiotics, bismuth subsalicylate, and/or other compounds, in some implementations. An apparatus and method for providing cosmetic treatment to skin comprise one material chemically active in a solid form preferably in a tablet form and a second material which is chemically reactive with the first material so that effervescence is produced during the reaction. The chemically active materials may be activated by a user for providing cosmetic treatment to skin. The activation releases effervescence which urges granules of the reacting materials onto the skin. The size of the granules lowers during the reaction thus providing continuously refining peeling to the skin.

Solid anhydrous cosmetic composition, preparation process, cosmetic treatment processes and associated kit The present invention relates to a solid anhydrous cosmetic composition, in particle form, and comprising at least 30% by weight of anionic surfactants, at least 5% by weight of amphoteric surfactants, and at least 10% by weight of fillers.
