Cosmetic preparation comprising pulverized hydrophilic substances

A substance, which is in principle insoluble in a cosmetic or dermatological anhydrous preparation is converted into a powdery product by absorption onto a carrier, the powdery product being soluble in the preparation. The anhydrous preparations comprise one or more hydrophilic substances or substance mixtures which are liquid, pasty at room temperature and/or meltable up to a temperature of 150 C. and which are absorbed on one or more particulate carriers. The hydrophilic substance or substance mixture in itself is insoluble or sparingly soluble in the preparation and the carriers are characterized by a particle size ranging from 5 nm to 2 mm, a tamped density of between 50 kg/m.sup.3 and 1400 kg/m.sup.3 and a spherical, fibrous, flocculated and/or sponge-like particulate form.

An apparatus and method for providing cosmetic treatment to skin comprise one material chemically active in a solid form preferably in a tablet form and a second material which is chemically reactive with the first material so that effervescence is produced during the reaction. The chemically active materials may be activated by a user for providing cosmetic treatment to skin. The activation releases effervescence which urges granules of the reacting materials onto the skin. The size of the granules lowers during the reaction thus providing continuously refining peeling to the skin.

Solid anhydrous cosmetic composition, preparation process, cosmetic treatment processes and associated kit

Solid anhydrous cosmetic composition, preparation process, cosmetic treatment processes and associated kit The present invention relates to a solid anhydrous cosmetic composition, in particle form, and comprising at least 30% by weight of anionic surfactants, at least 5% by weight of amphoteric surfactants, and at least 10% by weight of fillers. The invention also relates to a process for preparing this composition by granulation on a fluidized air bed and also to a process for the cosmetic treatment, in particular the care and/or the cleaning, of keratin materials, in particular the hair, comprising the application of said solid anhydrous cosmetic composition, alone or in combination with a hair conditioning composition. The invention also relates to a kit comprising said solid anhydrous cosmetic composition and said conditioning composition.

COMPOSITION CONTAINING THEASAPOGENOL DERIVATIVE AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

The present specification discloses a composition for shrinking pores, inhibiting or improving wrinkles, promoting skin elasticity, regulating sebum, and preventing or improving acne skin, the composition containing, as an active ingredient, theasapogenol derivative 21-O-angeloyltheasapogenol E3 as one embodiment.

Detergent composition comprising polyvinyl alcohol-containing pigment granules

The present invention relates to [1] a detergent composition including pigment granules containing (A) from 10 to 95% by mass of a water-insoluble pigment, and (B) at least two compounds selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohol, a polyvinyl alcohol derivative, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and a polyvinyl pyrrolidone derivative; and [2] a process for producing the detergent composition according to the above [1], including the steps of mixing and granulating a powder containing the water-insoluble pigment (A) and a solution of the component (B) to obtain a granulated product; drying the resulting granulated product to obtain the pigment granules; and mixing the pigment granules with a detergent. The detergent composition is capable of not only can satisfying both of rich foaming and good preparation stability, but also exhibiting sufficient coloration of foams and readily controlling a coloring time of the foams without damage to motivation of the user to use the detergent, and therefore can provide a comfortable feeling of use and a suitable configuration of use according to the applications by the user.

COMPOSITE POWDER HAVING SURFACE OF INORGANIC POWDER COVERED WITH PRESSUESENSITIVE ADHESIVE POLYMER, COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME, AND METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME

The present invention relates to composite powder having enhanced skin adhesiveness, since the surface of inorganic powder contained in a cosmetic material is evenly covered with a pressure-sensitive adhesive polymer, a cosmetic composition containing same, and a method for preparing same. A cosmetic material having the composite powder according to the present invention shows adhesiveness resulting from a pressure-sensitive adhesive polymer, thereby having excellent skin adhesiveness, enhanced coverage and lasting power due to same, excellent oil dispersibility and spreadability when applied on the skin, and bringing light and refreshing feeling when used.
