The intelligent umbrella includes a controller, the controller to receive the latitude and the longitude measurement of the intelligent umbrella and to calculate an associated azimuth angle for the intelligent umbrella. The intelligent umbrella also includes a first motor, the controller to communicate the associated azimuth angle to the first motor to cause the intelligent umbrella to move to the associated azimuth angle. The controller receives an altitude measurement from the GPS receiver and calculates an elevation angle. The intelligent umbrella also includes a second motor, the controller to communicate the associated elevation angle to the second motor to cause the umbrella to the associated elevation angle.

An intelligent umbrella includes a light sensor to generate a light intensity measurement, a motor to move the light sensor about an azimuth axis, the light sensor generating a plurality of light intensity measurements and associated locations. The intelligent umbrella also includes a controller to receive the plurality of light intensity measurements from the light sensor, and to identify a highest light sensor measurement of the plurality of light sensor measurements and an associated location. The controller generates and communicates a command including the associated location to a motor, which receives the command and moves the light sensor to the associated location. The controller moves a light sensor about an elevation axis, determines a peak intensity value and corresponding elevation location, and moves the light sensor to the corresponding elevation location.

The pivot joint is rotatable with respect to the support structure, about a second axis at a fixed angle with respect to the support structure. The pivot joint has a rotatable joint axle rotatably coupled to the support structure, and a tilt joint axle having a first end rotatably coupled to the rotatable joint axle along an interface plane at an angle, and a second end coupled to the support hub, wherein the tilt joint axle defines a longitudinal third axis. The orientation of the canopy can be changed with respect to the support structure by rotating the rotatable joint axle about the second axis.

Sunshade mounting structure

A sunshade mounting mechanism comprises a first connecting sleeve (3); a second connecting sleeve (4) disposed on the top of the bearing rod (2); a pin shaft (5); the first connecting sleeve (3) is rotatably connected to the second connecting sleeve (4) through the pin shaft (5), and a center line of rotation of the first connecting sleeve (3) intersects with the transverse direction of the main rod (11); the bearing rod (2) has a first through hole (20) for allowing the pin shaft (5) to pass through. In this mounting mechanism, the mounting angle and position of the main rod relative to the bearing rod can be freely adjusted. The pin shaft is allowed to pass through the periphery of the top of the bearing rod on the basis of connecting the first connecting sleeve and the second connecting sleeve. In this way, the connection of the three components, i.e., the first connecting sleeve, the second connecting sleeve and the bearing rod can be achieved by only one pin shaft. The mounting mechanism is simplified, the connection strength can be greatly increased, and the service life is greatly prolonged.

A cantilever umbrella includes a canopy, a base, and an upright pole. The upright pole is disposed on the base. A locking block is fixedly disposed on the upright pole. A fixed rod, a first cantilever arm, and a second cantilever arm are disposed on the locking block. A connector on the first cantilever arm is connected to a protruding portion on the second cantilever arm through a second screw. After the first cantilever arm and the second cantilever arm are dismounted, a size of a transportation case can be reduced when the cantilever umbrella is packaged for transportation, and therefore, costs are reduced. When the first cantilever arm and the second cantilever arm slide in the locking block and a locking sliding sleeve, an angle of the canopy is adjusted with sliding of the first cantilever arm and the second cantilever arm.
