TOPICAL COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
The present invention relates generally to methods of use and compositions useful to reduce dark spots, age spots, and/or unwanted pigmentation of skin. The composition includes a combination of niacinamide, phytic acid, Rosmarinus officinalis leaf extract, Chondrus crispus extract, and a combination of Saxifraga sarmentosa extract, Carica papaya (papaya) fruit extract, and Psidium guajava (guava) fruit extract. The composition is effective to reduce dark spots, age spots, and/or unwanted pigmentation of skin. The composition is effective to inhibit tyrosinase and/or Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor Gamma (PPAR-γ) activity. The composition is further effective to reduce melanin content in skin, particularly dark skin, in some instances by at least 30%.
ORAL CARE PRODUCT FORMULATION
A three-part method of cleaning a user's teeth and/or gums is disclosed. First, a user applies a tonic of essential oils to the user's teeth and/or gums by either brushing, rubbing, rinsing and/or flossing with the tonic thereby destroying harmful bacteria. Second, the user brushes with a toothpaste having nano-hydroxyapatite being particles of 50 nanometers or smaller. The nano-hydroxyapatite is absorbed into the surface opening inside dentinal tubules of the teeth. Third, the user seeds their mouth with an oral probiotic having beneficial bacteria. The third step must come after both the first and second steps.
Compositions and methods for controlled moisturizing and release of active ingredients
The subject matter of the present invention is a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition for controlled moisturizing and release of active molecule(s), comprising at least one emulsifier having an enzyme cleavable bound, at least one emollient, at least one polar solvent, and water, forming together a macroscopically homogenous liquid crystals emulsion. In some embodiments of the invention, the composition also includes at least one ingredient having a cosmetic or pharmaceutical activity.
GEL-TYPE SKIN EXTERNAL COMPOSITION
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a gel-type skin external composition containing a L-ascorbic acid derivative, which has excellent shape retention, stability, and excellent feeling of use even when salts coexist in the composition. The above problem is solved by providing a gel-type skin external composition containing a L-ascorbic acid derivative, a nonionic synthetic water-soluble polymer, and a natural water-soluble polysaccharide.

A cosmetic composition including a metal chelation system includes a combination of ascorbic acid, ferulic acid and phytic acid in a carrier system that includes water, and further includes one or more other ingredients for providing one of a variety of forms of cosmetic products. The cosmetic composition demonstrates removal of free metal ions in material contacted with the cosmetic composition, the removal of free metal ions in a range from at least about 40% and up to about 99%.
HYDROGLYCOLIC COSMETIC COMPOSITION WITH A HIGH ACTIVE CONTENT
A hydroglycolic cosmetic composition includes at least one or a combination of skin actives comprising at least one of ascorbic acid, a cinnamic acid derivative, Vitamin E, or a combination of these, and a glycol or combination of glycols selected from the group consisting of: dipropylene glycol, pentylene glycol, hexylene glycol, a combination of dipropylene glycol and pentylene glycol, and a combination of dipropylene glycol and hexylene glycol. The composition demonstrates stability of solubility of the actives at temperatures in the range from about 5° C. to about 45° C. and at a pH that is in the range from about 3.0 to about 3.5, all over a time period up to at least about 4 days or more.
Preparation Method of Fatty Acid Liposome for VC Encapsulation
The present disclosure discloses a preparation method of fatty acid-based VC liposomes, and belongs to the field of pharmaceutical preparations. In the disclosure, a complex of industrial conjugated linoleic acid and other fatty acids with sodium dodecyl sulfate is taken as a capsule material, which is self-assembled to embed vitamin C in an aqueous phase under an acidic condition (pH<7) to form the fatty acid-based vitamin C liposome. The preparation method of the disclosure does not use organic solvents and other substances harmful to the human body, and has the characteristics of safety and health. In addition to VC encapsulation under the acidic condition, the prepared fatty acid-based liposome can play a role in slowly releasing VC.
