Oxidative hair color remover in tablet or pellet form
An oxidative composition for the removal of natural and/or synthetic color from keratinaceous fibers may include a pellet or tablet that when added to a sufficient quantity of a peroxide developer solution readily disperses. The composition may include a gas generating agent to facilitate breakdown and dispersion of the pellet or tablet. The composition added to the developer may be agitated to forms homogeneous cream-like mixture for application to keratinaceous fibers.
SOFT CAPSULE SHELL
Provided are a plant-derived soft capsule shell having high shell sheet strength, good adhesive property, and good shell performance, and a soft capsule.
A soft capsule shell comprising: (A) iota carrageenan; and (B) waxy corn starch having undergone a heat-moisture treatment in the presence of a salt, the soft capsule shell having a content mass ratio [(A)/(B)] of the component (A) to the component (B) of 0.4 to 3, the soft capsule shell having a content mass ratio [carrageenan/starch] of carrageenan including the component (A) to starch including the component (B) of 0.29 to 1.
HAIR CARE COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING CATIONIC COMPOUNDS, STARCH, AND SILANE COMPOUNDS
Disclosed are compositions for treating and conditioning keratinous substrates, comprising a cationic agent comprising quaternary ammonium compounds; a modified starch; silane compounds, a cationic vinylpyrrolidone polymer and water. Also disclosed are methods treating and conditioning keratinous substrates using the composition.
COSMETIC POWDER TREATED WITH POLYSACCHARIDE AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates generally to cosmetic powders in which the powders are surface modified with at least one polysaccharide, or salt forms thereof. The powders may be used in cosmetic compositions such as a powder foundation, liquid foundation, point makeup, lip, mascara, eyeliner, skin care products which are skin cream, hair care products which are shampoo, conditioner, treatment and hair styling products, hair color products, cleansing products which are a body soap, hand soap and facial cleanser.
Composition comprising an alkoxysilane and a modified starch, and cosmetic use thereof
The invention relates to a composition, especially a cosmetic composition, comprising: (i) one or more alkoxysilanes, and (ii) one or more starches modified with an acid or an acid derivative. The invention also relates to a cosmetic process for treating keratin materials with this composition, and also to the use of this composition for caring for and/or shaping keratin materials.
Modified starches for use in personal care applications
The present invention details the use of starch silicate and starch siliconates in personal care formulations to enhance or provide aesthetic properties to skin care products. These properties can range from smoothness and silky feel to non-greasy and non-oily. These starch derivatives provide an alternative to organically modified starches which can be expensive to prepare and require the addition of inorganic salts to functionalize the reagents.
Natural personal care cream to powder compositions
Personal care compositions that apply as a cream and quickly dry to a powdery feel. The compositions comprise a natural starch component (e.g., corn starch), water, one or more emulsifiers, and one or more emollients. The starch, emulsifiers, and emollients are naturally derived, naturally processed, or both. The composition advantageously does not require the addition of synthetic gelling agents or other suspension aids to maintain the starch component in suspension, even with relatively low water concentrations and relatively high starch concentrations. In an embodiment, the emollients include esters of fatty acids and fatty alcohols, as well as a tertiary branched ester (a triester). The emulsifiers may include a sugar ester, alkylaryl glucoside, alkyl aryl alcohol, and straight chain fatty alcohol. An ester of a polyglycerin and a fatty acid (e.g., polyglyceryl-4 caprate) stabilizer has surprisingly been found to provide high temperature phase stability to the composition.
Methods for making appetizing and dentally efficacious animal chews
Described herein are chewable articles intended to be provided to animals for purposes including dental cleaning, breath freshening, nutrition, administration to the animal of beneficial agents, satisfaction of the animal's urge to chew, and general enjoyment by the animal. Also disclosed are apparatus and methods for making such chewable articles, the methods including the use of a processing aid to lubricate the article-forming apparatus, such as extruders, portioners, and molds, and to reduce the power requirements of such apparatus in the forming process.
LONG-LASTING POWDER ESSENCE COMPOSITION WITH IMPROVED COLORING AND SKIN FEELING AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a long-lasting powder essence composition with improved coloring and skin feeling and its preparation method. The powder essence composition is a high-fitting coloring powder not likely to smear or wear off. The composition turns into liquid the moment it is rubbed on the skin to offer a natural color tone like water color, keeps the color clear without getting cakey even when it is reapplied multiple times, and delivers a clearer color as it glides on the skin to break powder and water particles. The powder essence composition according to the present invention is also a powder emulsion, which makes the skin feel light and hydrated rather than sticky or stuffy when applied to the skin and stays long due to its water-resistant function. In addition, the powder essence composition according to the present invention contains different functional moisturizing agents to provide plenty of nourishment when applied to the skin. The composition makes the skin feel fresh and hydrated rather than stuffy or heavy, lightly sinks into the skin like nothing is applied on the skin, to display a strong tint function, stays long just with one touch and has a good water-resistant effect, so it does not bleed when in contact with water.
