The medical device or solution contains a polysaccharide or other biocompatible polymer with an antimicrobial metal, antimicrobial metal compound, or antimicrobial metal ion bound to a biopolymer. The medical device or solution further comprises at least one soluble antimicrobial. The soluble antimicrobial may be a water soluble metal iodide, water soluble metal fluoride, or a water soluble metal chloride encompassed with the nanogel. The medical device may be a solution of a chitosan with a nanoparticle of silver fluoride on the chitosan and at least one of a sodium fluoride or silver fluoride. The solution may be water based solution. Methods of applying the medical device or solution are also disclosed.
Hair-treatment compositions and methods of use
The present disclosure relates to hair-treatment compositions, typically in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion, comprising: (a) one or more monosaccharides with amine group(s); (b) one or more polysaccharides with amine group(s); wherein (a) and (b) are solubilized in an aqueous phase of the oil-in-water emulsion; (c) one or more oils; (d) one or more nonionic emulsifiers; and (e) water. The compositions strengthen hair fibers and provide additional cosmetic improvements to the hair such as conditioning, detangling, softness, suppleness, moisturizing, and manageability. Methods of treating hair with the compositions are also described. The methods include applying the composition to wet or damp hair, drying the hair (for example, with a blow dryer) and treating the hair with heat (for example, with a hot iron).

The composition according to the present invention is stable, and can have a variety of cosmetic functions. For example, the composition according to the present invention can prepare a film which can have cosmetic effects such as moisturizing due to the oil(s).

The invention relates to a dentin collagen fibril demineralizing material, and a preparation method and application thereof. The invention relates to a conjugate of water-soluble chitosan and an aminocarboxylic acid metal chelating agent used for dental demineralization, preferably dentin demineralization. The invention also discloses a dentin collagen fibril demineralizing material and a preparation method and application thereof, wherein the material is prepared from 0.5-1 part by mass of water-soluble chitosan, 10-30 parts by mass of EDTA, and 0.8-1.5 parts by mass of cross-linking agent. The invention relates to a dental demineralization composition comprising a conjugate and a material of the invention. The conjugate, material and composition can be used for dentin demineralization treatment before dental bonding and restoration. When used as a dentin collagen demineralizing agent, they have excellent selective extrafibrillar demineralization performance, good biological compatibility, effective anti-bacterial activity, endogenous matrix protease-inhibiting activity and extremely low cytotoxicity.
Antibacterial Glucose-based Composite Nanoparticle and Processing Method and Use thereof
The present disclosure discloses an antibacterial glucose-based composite nanoparticle and a processing method and use thereof, and belongs to the technical field of processing of modern food. According to the present disclosure, the antibacterial composite nanoparticle is prepared by using a particle surface positioning modification technology and a physical field charge transfer technology with a natural glucose-based nanoparticle as a raw material. The obtained antibacterial composite nanoparticle has a particle size of 50-1,000 nm, a surface zeta potential of 0 to −10 mV and a broad-spectrum antibacterial rate of greater than 98%. The shelf life of food can be effectively prolonged to prevent spoilage of products. The antibacterial composite nanoparticle can be used in food, textiles, daily chemicals, medicine and many other fields, and has a wide application prospect.
