Personal care compositions containing low levels of surfactant and a cationic polymer.
ENVIRONMENTALLY BIODEGRADABLE MICROCAPSULES
Disclosed is a composition including controlled release particles, wherein each of the controlled release particles includes: (a) a core including at least one hydrophobic active ingredient; and (b) a wall at least partially surrounding the core and including the reaction products of: (i) an organofunctional silane; (ii) an epoxy; (iii) an amine; (iv) an isocyanate; (v) an epoxide curing agent; (vi) a basified biodegradable resin; (vii) a pre-reacted natural material resin; (viii) a pre-reaction product of polyisocyanate; wherein the controlled release particles are effective to retain the at least one hydrophobic active ingredient upon exposure to water and effective to release the at least one hydrophobic active ingredient in response to friction. A method for preparing the composition is also disclosed.
Conditioning shampoo composition
The invention relates to a shampoo composition for enhancing deposition of oil drop onto a substrate, comprising a mixture of sulfonated methyl ester compounds containing two or more sulfonated methyl esters of a fatty acid having a chain length of 12 to 20 carbon atoms (C12-C20); a zwitterionic surfactant; an oil phase; and a cationic polymer. The shampoo composition may further comprise an inorganic electrolyte such as sodium chloride. The invention also relates to use of the shampoo composition for enhancing deposition of oil drop onto a substrate, wherein the composition comprises a specific blend of sulfonated methyl ester compounds.
Toothpaste Composition
A toothpaste composition has silica and a precipitated phosphate. The content of the precipitated phosphate is 2% to 10%, based on the total weight of the toothpaste composition and the average diameter of the precipitated phosphate particles is 75 μm to 180 μm. The toothpaste composition of the present invention was confirmed to have the effects of improving the cleaning power and the stain removal power. The toothpaste composition has excellent effect of removing stains on the tooth surface and brightening teeth.
OIL-CONTAINING WASHING COMPOSITION
The application concerns cosmetic wash composition in form of a gel comprising an anionic polysaccharide, a cationic polysaccharide, a pre-solubilized plant-derived oil, surfactant(s), and water wherein the composition is free of inorganic and/or organic sulfates and free of polyethylene glycol and/or polyethylene glycol-derivatives and wherein the cosmetic wash composition has a specific viscosity.
Water-soluble and/or water-swellable hybrid polymer
A water-soluble and/or water-swellable hybrid polymer comprising: (i) from 5 wt.-% to 95 wt.-% water-soluble and/or water-swellable polysaccharide polymer; (ii) from 5 wt.-% to 95 wt.-% synthetic polymer comprising: (a) from 40 mol-% to 99.9 mol-% repeating units according to Formula (1) ##STR00001## (b) from 0.01 mol-% to 5 mol-% crosslinking or branching units, wherein the crosslinking or branching units result from the incorporation of a monomer comprising at least two olefinically unsaturated double bonds; (c) from 0.01 mol-% to 88.51 mol-% of neutral structural units; (d) from 1.98 mol-% to 20 mol-% of anionic structural units, wherein the repeating anionic structural units result from the incorporation of a monomer comprising at least one carboxylate anion, and wherein the repeating anionic structural units are different from units (a);
wherein components (i) and (ii) are polymerized by radical precipitation polymerization in a polar solvent.
Conditioning hair treatment product with washout protection
Hair treatment products comprising, in relation to its weight, from about 0.001 to about 20% by weight of at least one alpha-substituted aldehyde and from about 0.001 to about 50% by weight of at least one amino-functional silicon, which lead to improved structural reinforcement of keratin fibers and improved hair care, and which reduce or prevent color washout in dyed hair.
Yeast-based masks for improved skin, hair and scalp health
The subject invention provides materials and methods for improving facial skin, hair and scalp health using cosmetic yeast-based masks. In a specific embodiment, the subject invention provides a yeast-based mask for application to the face, which can improve the health and appearance of thereof. In another specific embodiment, the subject invention provides a yeast-based mask for application to the hair and scalp, which can aid in preventing hair loss, as well as improve the health and appearance of the hair and scalp. Methods of using the yeast-based masks are also provided.
