CONTROLLED RELEASE DEVICE FOR ORAL CAVITY
The present invention relates to a controlled release device for oral cavity, which is attached on a hard dental surface of a tooth. The attachment is done using any adhesive layer that can attach on enamel surface of a tooth or using a holder attached to the hard dental surface, to which holder the device can be attached, clipped or fastened. The device comprises of two or more polymeric materials forming a polymer matrix or matrices. The polymer matrices incorporate one or more agent(s), which release rate in the oral cavity can be con-trolled with the polymeric materials in the matrices. The invention also relates to a method producing a controlled re-lease device for delivering an agent to the oral cavity.

Described are effervescent dissolvable solid structures having fibers formed from a composition comprising surfactant and water soluble polymeric structurant, having a total dissolvable solid structure density of from about 0.100 g/cm.sup.3 to about 0.380 g/cm.sup.3, having a surfactant dose of from about 0.5 to about 2.0 g, and a surfactant density of from about 0.1 g/cm.sup.3 to about 0.3 g/cm.sup.3. The present invention is a thin film patch to be attached to the skin and used for skin treatment or skin care. In particular, a water-soluble polymer compound is formed by means of melt spinning, melt blowing or electrospinning, into a water-soluble non-woven fabric of which the average diameter of fiber is 5 μm or less. The water-soluble non-woven fabric is coated with a coating agent comprising an active ingredient with a skin treatment or skin care effect; therefore, a thin film having the total thickness of 50 μm and the basis weight of 20 gsm or less is formed, wherein the water-soluble non-woven fabric has an electrically conductive material deposited thereon to have electrical conductivity and is connected to an electrode so that a current can be applied thereto.
