PHYSICALLY DRYING NAIL POLISH COMPOSITION, THE APPLICATION METHOD THEREOF, AND KIT INCLUDING SUCH A COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a nail polish composition containing at least one film-forming agent, a plasticizer, and a solvent. Said composition is characterized in that it also includes one or more oligomer(s) having a molar mass of 1500 g/mol and/or a glass transition temperature Tg greater than 25 C. Said oligomer has dual acrylic or methacrylic bonds available for reacting with groups without containing any agent for cross-linking the oligomer, such as a photoinitiator. The method for applying the nail polish includes consecutively applying such a photoinitiator-free composition and a similar photoinitiator-containing composition followed by visible-light cross-linking. The nail polish has longer-lasting sheen and better hardness than solvent-based nail polishes and also comes on and off much more quickly than a gel-based nail polish.
Peelable Cosmetic
The invention relates to a peelable cosmetic composition, and to methods for its production, wherein the composition comprises from 20 to 50 wt % of an aqueous polyurethane dispersion and from 1 to 10 wt % of an aqueous acrylic dispersion. The composition is particularly useful as a nail varnish.
Extended length botulinum toxin formulation for human or mammalian use
An extended duration pharmaceutical composition including a botulinum neurotoxin, an adhesive agent, and a stabilizing macromolecule is disclosed. The composition effectively has all the properties to cause chemodenervation through a facial muscle, or other muscle, that predecessor botulinum toxin preparations have had as well as agents which create a fibrotic adhesion on the under surface of facial muscles (or other muscles) to the facial bone (or other bones) so that the facial bone tethers the under surface of the facial muscle, thereby causing fibrosis to the underlying fat pad. The composition can be used to treat various disorders. Methods of modifying facial contour for functional or cosmetic purposes in a human patient are disclosed which involve injecting a therapeutically effective amount of the disclosed compositions. A method of quantifying the extended duration of the compositions is also disclosed.
Non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic hair and scalp care formulations and method for use
An improved hair and scalp treatment composition comprising a hair care product wherein the improvement comprises reducing the comedogenicity thereof by excluding therefrom comedogenic elements having a Fulton scale grade greater than 2.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATING HAIR
Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for styling hair comprising at least two latex polymers, wherein at least one latex polymer is a film-forming polymer; at least one aminofunctional silicone; at least one thickening agent chosen from optionally crosslinked and/or neutralized 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid polymers (AMPS) and copolymers, crosslinked anionic copolymers of acrylamide, crosslinked anionic copolymers of AMPS, emulsions of crosslinked anionic copolymers of acrylamide/nonionic surfactants, emulsions of AMPS/nonionic surfactants, or mixtures thereof; at least one nonionic surfactant chosen glyceryl esters, fatty alcohols, alkoxylated alcohols and lanolin, alkylpolyglucosides, or mixtures thereof; and water; wherein the at least two latex polymers are present in a combined amount ranging from about 0.1% to about 30% by weight, relative to the weight of the composition.
FOAMING COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
Disclosed herein are foaming cosmetic compositions comprising: at least one anionic thickening agent; at least two alkaline compounds; and at least one silicone. Methods for producing the foaming cosmetic compositions and for improving the stability of a foamed cosmetic composition are also disclosed.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATING HAIR
Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for styling hair comprising at least two latex polymers, wherein at least one latex polymer is a film-forming polymer; at least one aminofunctional silicone; at least one amphoteric surfactant; at least one alkylpolyglucoside; at least one anionic thickening agent; and water; wherein the at least two latex polymers are present in a combined amount ranging from about 0.1% to about 30% by weight, relative to the weight of the composition.
SKIN LIGHTENING COMPOSITIONS
Disclosed are compositions and methods for their use that include a combination of Leontopodium alpinum extract, Halidrys siliquosa extract, vegetable amino acids, niacinamide, hexylresorcinol, Pinus pinaster extract, Betula alba extract, Albizia julibrissin bark extract, hydrolyzed Candida saitoana extract, Lentinus edodes mycelium extract, and/or Opuntia tuna fruit extract.
AQUEOUS NAIL COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING ORGANIC COLORING AGENT
The invention relates to nail compositions including water, at least one water-soluble organic coloring agent and at least one film forming agent containing styrene, wherein the film forming agent minimizes staining of a nail by the water-soluble organic coloring agent to which the composition has been applied.
NAIL COSMETIC MATERIAL AND NAIL ART KIT
An object of the present invention is to provide a nail cosmetic material having excellent adhesiveness and peelability, and a nail art kit containing the nail cosmetic material.
The nail cosmetic material of the present invention including: diacetone acrylamide as a component 1; and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of isobornyl methacrylate, hydroxyethyl acrylamide, methacrylamide, dimethyl acrylamide, diethyl acrylamide, acryloyl morpholine, and butoxy diethylene glycol methacrylate, as a component 2.
