System, Methods, and Apparatus for Air Flow Handling in an Aircraft Monument
In an illustrative embodiment, an aircraft galley ducting assembly provides airflow to at least one compartment of an aircraft galley monument. The ducting assembly may include a supply air duct that provides a supply airflow path to a compartment that includes an inlet port mounted to a compartment surface. A return air duct may provide an exit airflow path for return air that has circulated throughout the compartment and includes an outlet port mounted to the compartment surface. An airflow adjustment apparatus with an airflow adjustment surface is positioned within the supply airflow path of the supply air duct or the exit airflow path of the return air duct to cause a modification of airflow properties for air passing across or through the airflow adjustment surface.
Aircraft Service Trolley and Galley Enclosure Therefor
In an illustrative embodiment, a retaining assembly secures an equipment item within an aircraft galley compartment. The retaining assembly may include a turn button assembly including a turn button connected to a front edge of the galley compartment to secure the equipment item within the galley compartment. The turn button rotates between a first position for allowing insertion or release of the equipment item from the galley compartment and a second position for securing the equipment item within the galley compartment. A turn button recess on an inner surface of a panel door that is coupled to an edge of an opening for the galley compartment receives the turn button of the turn button assembly when the turn button is in the second position to allow the panel door to fully close over the opening for the galley compartment.
Modular Aircraft Galley Systems, Apparatus and Methods for Configuration
In a preferred embodiment, a modular galley monument for an aircraft cabin includes a first side panel, a second side panel, and an upper surface connecting the first side panel and the second side panel. The modular galley monument may include dividers partitioning the monument into a number of compartments. The monument may include an upper monument portion and a lower monument portion connected at a periphery via a seal allowing for vertical deflection between the first monument portion and the second monument portion of at least one inch while maintaining contact with both. The monument may include an integrated heating appliance for a compartment, including an insulation shell, a heated compartment positioned within the insulation shell, an electrical heating unit disposed within the insulation shell and configured to provide heat energy to the heated compartment. and a door assembly rotatably connected about an opening of the heated compartment.

Pin
A pin comprises a metal body extending along a longitudinal insertion axis (Ox) and has a first and a second end along the longitudinal axis (Ox), an upper face and a lower face opposite the upper face. The pin has two convex portions each having an inclined inner wall and an inclined outer wall, the inclined walls of each convex portion forming a ridge and extending along the longitudinal axis. At least one ridge has on its lower face a protruding blade obtained by cutting and folding the metal body along the longitudinal axis. A concave portion of the pin connects the inner walls of each convex portion via a central surface. The pin has at least one blocking member.
Stress reducing fastener assembly
A system includes a first structure having an upper surface coupled to a second structure by a fastener assembly including a bushing positioned within an opening in the upper surface of the first structure. An inner opening of the bushing defines an inner diameter, and a fastener is at least partially positioned within the bushing. An outer surface of the fastener defines an outer diameter of the fastener. The bushing and the fastener are configured such that a space between the outer surface of the fastener and the inner opening of the bushing defines a gap which increases in size in a direction extending from the upper surface to the lower surface of the first structure.
CONCEALED STRUCTURAL POST FASTENING DEVICE AND METHOD
A post fastening device for mounting a post to a construction surface, the device comprising a base having a planar top surface and a threaded rod extending from the top surface, a tubular member for insertion into a longitudinal axial bore on the bottom end of the post, the tubular member having an upper end and a lower end with internal threads complementary to the threads of the rod, and a dowel rod for insertion into a transverse bore extending through a portion of the post and the tubular member when the tubular member is in the longitudinal bore, the dowel rod being sized to pass through the tubular member and a portion of the post on both sides of the tubular member.
Mounting assembly for a face shield
A face shield, such as a visor, mounts to a protective helmet using a mounting assembly. The mounting assembly has a base, a spacer assembly, and a pair of posts. The base is disposed on the interior of the helmet. The posts are connected to the base and extend outwardly through holes that are formed in the side of the helmet. The spacer assembly slides over the posts when the posts are inserted through the corresponding holes in the helmet, and frictionally engages the outer surfaces of the first and second posts such that the helmet is disposed between the base and the spacer assembly. The posts threadingly receive corresponding fasteners that attach the face shield to the helmet.
Connection system
A connection system (1) for detachably connecting a component element to a coated component part (3), includes a coupling element (2) that has a head (6) with a non-round outer cross-section and has a shank (5). The head (6) can be received by a frictional connection in a rotationally fixed manner in a head region (11) of a connection opening (4) of the component part (3). The shank (5) can be received in a friction-locked and/or firmly-bonded manner in a sealing region (12) of the connection opening (4). The head (6) has an internal geometry for connecting the component element.
Brake system module removably attachable to a vehicle
An anti-lock brake system module for a trailer or dolly, including a module panel having a front side and a back side facing in an opposite direction to the front side, a plurality of anti-lock brake system components, at least a portion of the components attached to the front side of the module panel and at least a portion of the components attached to the back side of the module panel, the plurality of anti-lock brake system components including an anti-lock brake valve and an electronic control unit, and a mounting element for removably connecting the module panel to a mounting location, such as an I-beam, of the trailer or dolly.
