MATTING SYSTEM
Improved containment mats and systems of containment mats may include multiple adjoining mats with a top surface and a bottom surface. The multiple mats may provide a modular structural mat system that may be installed at a drill site, with multiple mats placed adjacent to each other with a lap joint connecting adjacent mats. A geotextile may be used to cover the lap joints and a coating applied to the geotextile. Such a system may provide containment of potential spills, a reliable working surface for drilling operations, and relatively fast and less expensive installation.
GLASS WEBS AND METHODS OF SPLICING
Glass web including a first glass-web portion (30), a second portion (40), and a splice joint (50) coupling the first glass-web portion to the second portion, wherein the slice joint includes a splice member (60) with at least one gas-permeable attachment portion. In further examples, methods of splicing a first glass-web portion to a second portion include the step of splicing the first glass-web portion to the second portion with a splice member, wherein the step of splicing includes attaching a gas-permeable attachment portion of the splice member to the first glass-web portion.
Composite weldable panel with embedded devices
A hybrid composite panel suitable for forming a container includes a wood layer and a fiber-reinforced polymer composite layer having a sensor system embedded therein. The wood layer is laminated plywood that includes at least one of hard and soft wood, solid-sawn tongue-and-groove hardwood planks, and partially laminated solid-sawn hardwood.

Architectural panels including elongated thermoplastic members
Implementations of the present invention relate to for incorporating virgin or recycled thermoplastic resin materials into architectural thermoplastic panels that have ordered and reproducible geometric patterns. More specifically, at least one implementation provides a method for fusing thermoplastic elongated members, such as circular rods and rectangular bars, sourced from recycled thermoplastic resin to form the architectural thermoplastic panels.
Structural blank
A structural blank suitable for a watercraft is described. At least part of the structural blank comprises a plurality of structural elements connected to adjacent structural elements so that the plurality of structural elements are arranged in a matrix of structural elements forming at least a portion of the structural blank.
LAMINATED WOOD PRODUCT
An engineered wood panel assembly includes a first layer including a first set of billets that abut against each other along a lengthwise edge of the billets. Each billet includes one or more joints connecting adjacent sheets within the billet, and the joints are oriented perpendicular to the lengthwise edge. Each of the sheets in the first layer includes at least one ply comprising wood grain oriented in a first direction. A second layer including a second set of billets of sheets is layered on top of the first layer. Each billet in the second set includes one or more additional joints that are oriented perpendicular to a lengthwise edge of the second set of billets. The additional joints in the second layer are offset from the joints in the first layer, and each of the sheets in the second layer includes at least one ply having wood grain oriented in a second direction. Additionally, a third layer including a third set of billets of sheets may be layered on top of the second layer.

Cleaning method for thin-film processing applications and apparatus for use therein
According to the present disclosure, a method for cleaning the processing chamber of a flexible substrate processing apparatus without breaking the vacuum in the processing chamber is provided. The method for cleaning the processing chamber includes guiding a sacrificial foil into the processing chamber; initiating a first pump process in the processing chamber; plasma cleaning the processing chamber while the sacrificial foil is provided in the processing chamber; initiating a second pump process in the processing chamber; and guiding a flexible substrate into the processing chamber.
