The binding layer is directly adjacent the adhesive layer.
SPACER COMPRISING AN INTERRUPTED ADHESIVE LAYER
A spacer for insulating glass units, includes a polymeric hollow profile extending in the longitudinal direction and including a first and second side wall, a glazing interior wall connecting connects the side walls to one another; an outer wall arranged substantially parallel to the glazing interior wall and connects the side walls to one another; a cavity surrounded by the side walls, the glazing interior wall, and the outer wall, a moisture barrier on the first side wall, the outer wall, and the second side wall of the polymeric hollow body, wherein the moisture barrier include a multi-layer system having a barrier function including a polymeric layer and an inorganic barrier layer, a metallic or ceramic outer adhesive layer, wherein the adhesive layer has a thickness d of at least 5 nm, the adhesive layer is interrupted in the transverse direction by uncoated regions.
Multi-Layered Windowpane and Method for Producing Such Windowpane
The invention relates to a multi-layered windowpane including a first transparent outer layer, a second transparent outer layer, and a third, smaller, transparent inner layer that is located in between the outer layers, an adhesive transparent foil layer located between the first outer layer and the third inner layer and a sealing surrounding the third inner layer. The invention also provides a thin layered windowpane core to be incorporated in such a multi-layered windowpane as well as a method for producing such a multi-layered windowpane.
Manufacturing method of glass panel unit, manufacturing method of glass window, and glass panel unit
A manufacturing method of a glass panel unit of the present invention includes a bonding step, a pressure reduction step, and a sealing step. In the bonding step, a first substrate and a second substrate are hermetically bonded together with a seal having a frame shape. In the pressure reduction step, a pressure in an inside space formed between the first substrate and the second substrate is reduced through an exhaust port. In the sealing step, sealant disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate is deformed, and the sealant thus deformed seals an opening of the exhaust port.
Clear view panel for overhead door
Examples of the present disclosure provide an overhead door panel. The overhead door panel includes a pair of parallel glass panes, a metal frame with parallel lateral stiles oriented perpendicular to the pair of parallel glass panes, a first seal system located at a first lateral stile, and a second seal system located at a second lateral stile, wherein the first seal system and the second seal system engage with at least one glass pane of the pair of parallel glass panes and a lateral stile of the parallel lateral stiles of the metal frame such that the first seal system and the second seal system are between the at least one glass pane and the lateral stile.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MULTI-LAYER LAMINATE
A multi-layer laminate includes a glass panel unit, an intermediate film, and a transparent plate. The transparent plate is assembled to the glass panel unit via the intermediate film. The glass panel unit includes a first and second glass panel, and an evacuated space. The evacuated space is interposed between the first and second glass panel. A method for manufacturing the multi-layer laminate includes a step. The step includes exhausting a gas from a bag, loaded with the glass panel unit, the intermediate film, and the transparent plate, to cause the bag to shrink and thereby assembling, using the bag thus shrunk, the glass panel unit and the transparent plate via the intermediate film. The step includes raising a pressure inside the bag from a pressure at an initial stage of heating while increasing a temperature of the intermediate film to a predetermined temperature at which the intermediate film softens.
