GROOVED STACKABLE PANEL FOR FLOATING CULTIVATION OF PLANTS
Panel for floating cultivation of plants on water, includes parallel grooves at a top side extending longitudinally, adapted for receiving a substrate and a number of plants or precursors in the substrate, each groove extending through the panel from a first top plane to a second parallel plane. The panel includes air chambers at a lower side extending substantially below the second plane, each of the air chambers allowing therein formation of air roots of plants supported in the substrate of the grooves. At the second plane, each groove is spaced apart from the circumferential side wall of the air chamber it debouches in when projected onto a plane normal to the longitudinal direction, each of the grooves including at least two side support surfaces extending parallel to the groove and below the top side, the side support surfaces adapted for substantially completely supporting the substrate in the groove.
ECOLOGICAL RESTORATION METHOD FOR LAKE WETLAND AGAINST EFFECTS OF WATER LEVEL RISE IN DRY SEASON
An ecological restoration method for a lake wetland against effects of water level rise in a dry season includes: collecting basic data of a lake; determining wetland phytoremediation species of the lake; determining characteristic water levels of the lake under a baseline scenario and under different water level rise scenarios; determining a restoration range based on wetland types corresponding to different characteristic water levels; selecting an experimental restoration area from the restoration range, and performing ecological restoration; and monitoring a plant community state and waterbird biodiversity, judging whether the restoration reaches a preset goal, and adjusting the method if the restoration does not reach the preset goal. According to the method, the effects of water level rise in the dry season on wetland habitat, biodiversity, ecosystem services and the like can be relieved to the greatest extent, so that an ecological restoration effect of the lake wetland is improved.
METHOD OF ADJUSTING A MOBILE DRIP TUBE IRRIGATION SYSTEM HAVING ADJUSTABLE DRIP TUBE POSITIONING
A mobile drip irrigation system includes a plurality of drip tubes anchored at a first end to a water supply conduit. As the mobile irrigation system travels across a surface to be watered a second, free end of each drip tube is pulled along the surface to provide precise and uniform water distribution through the drip tubes. A cable extending across each section of the mobile irrigation system is attached to the plurality of drip tubes within that section, with the cable movable via a winch mechanism to shift the position of the drip tubes within that section to correspondingly shift the drag path of the tubes to a desired location. In exemplary embodiments, a lower manifold distributes water to the drip tubes, and in further embodiments a support restraint provides support to the lower manifold.
Emitter Coupler And Irrigation System
An emitter coupler is provided, such as for use in an irrigation dripline. The emitter coupler includes a body with two portions for coupling to two supply tubes. The emitter coupler also includes a conduit defined by the body that receives fluid from a supply tube. The emitter coupler also has an emitter including: an emitter inlet that receives fluid from the conduit; an emitter outlet downstream of the emitter inlet with the inlet receiving fluid at a certain pressure and the outlet emitting fluid at a reduced pressure; and a pressure reducing flow channel disposed in the emitter between the inlet and the outlet. The emitter coupler further includes a housing that encloses the emitter. The housing is in fluid communication with the conduit and defines an outlet of the emitter coupler. A dripline with at least one emitter coupler is also provided.
INDOOR GROWING SYSTEM
An agricultural method includes providing a positive air pressure chamber to prevent outside contaminants from entering the chamber; growing crops in a plurality of cells in the chamber, each cell having multi-grow benches or levels, each cell further having connectors to vertical hoists for vertical movements in the chamber; maintaining pre-set temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, watering and lighting levels to achieve predetermined plant growth; using motorized transport rails to deliver benches for operations including seeding, harvesting, grow media recovery, and bench wash; dispensing seeds in the cell with a mechanical seeder coupled to the transport rails; growing the crops with computer controlled nutrients, light and air level; and harvesting the crops and delivering the harvested crop at a selected outlet of the chamber.
