The plurality of electrodes are arranged into a plurality of pairs of electrodes that comprises at least a first pair of electrodes and a second pair of electrodes. Each pair of electrodes includes a first electrode and a second electrode. An electrode length of the electrodes along the outer periphery is proportional to a central current path length between center points of the electrodes of that pair of electrode. The electrode lengths of the electrodes of the first and second pairs of electrode are different.

A method for constructing a body-in-white (BiW) spot welding deformation prediction model based on a graph convolutional network (GCN) includes: 1) acquiring a welding feature and 3D coordinates of a spot weld to form an eigenvector and extracting designed 3D coordinates at each 3D coordinate measurement point; 2) encoding, by an encoder, eigenvectors and designed 3D coordinate vectors into hidden space vectors of spot welds and hidden space vectors of the coordinate measurement points, respectively, and constructing a graph topology G through a k-nearest neighbors algorithm; 3) decomposing a Laplacian eigenvector of the constructed graph topology G to acquire frequency domain components, and linearly transforming eigenvalues corresponding to the frequency domain components to construct a multi-layer GCN; 4) inputting the thermodynamic and kinetic information of each coordinate measurement point into a deep neural network and decoding a final deformation at each coordinate measurement point; and 5) optimizing the model.

An operating system for a standby generator includes a control unit, a switch, an inverter, a terminal, a current sensor, a starter circuit, a power control circuit, and an ignition kill circuit. The control unit is powered by a rechargeable twelve volt DC battery. The switch is selectively operable by the control unit to connect one of a first input or a second input to an output. The second input receives the supply of electrical power from an internal combustion engine. The inverter is positioned between the DC battery and the first input, and supplies electrical power to the electrical device when a movable contact of the switch connects the output to the first input. The power control circuit is connected to the control unit and is operable to adjust the movable contact of the switch to selectively connect the output to either the first input or the second input.

One embodiment is a system comprising an internal combustion engine having one or more non-dedicated cylinders and one or more dedicated EGR cylinders configured to provide EGR to the engine via an EGR loop, a first spark plug coupled to each of the one or more non-dedicated cylinders, and a second spark plug coupled to each of the one or more dedicated EGR cylinders, wherein the second spark plug has a physical or dimensional characteristic that is different from the first spark plug. In certain forms each of the non-dedicated cylinders has only one of a first type of spark plug and each of the dedicated EGR cylinders has only one of a second type of spark plug. One or more of the characteristics that may vary between the first and second types of spark plugs include spark gap, electrode diameter, heat range, and ion sensing capability.
