A seat dress cover attachment clip, dress cover attachment system, and method for attaching and tensioning a seat dress cover. The attachment clip includes a clamp portion adapted to clamp to a rigid seat part and a portion attachable to a seat dress cover. The clamp includes a flexible part for accommodating different rigid part thickness and the portion attachable to the seat dress cover, in use, tensions the seat dress cover wrapped around the clip. Elongate clips can be utilized to attached to dress cover to a rigid seat part, such as a backrest or other seat element.

A clip main body of a clip may include a head portion, a pair of inner legs continuous with the head portion, and a pair of elastically deformable outer legs respectively continuous with distal end portions of the inner legs. A pin and grommet fastener includes a grommet that defines a central aperture and includes at least two adjacent longitudinally extending leg members that each include a frame, a knuckle and a tether. The knuckle is connected to the frame at a hinge region that is designed to permit the knuckle to move relative to the frame. The tether connects the knuckle to a base surface of grommet in order to limit movement of the knuckle relative to the frame. The fastener includes a pin that has a first locking member to retain the pin in a first position relative to the grommet in which the longitudinally extending leg members are in a laterally unexpanded state. The pin also has a second locking member to retain the pin in a second position relative to the grommet in which the longitudinally extending leg members are in a laterally expanded state.

This invention provides a locking seat cover securing system that includes a listing bead with a notch removed from the bead, and a stop clip with a nub in an inner surface of the stop clip. The notch is curved so as to maintain the structural integrity of the listing bead. The nub is sized, shaped, and located to correspond to the notch on the listing bead, so that the nub can engage within the listing bead when the listing bead is inserted into the notch. The engagement of the nub within the notch prevents the listing bead from sliding within the locking stop clip. The listing bead with the stop clip can be inserted into an upholstery clip within a foam seat, and the stop clip can abut the upholstery clip so that the listing bead cannot move relative to the upholstery clip.

The present invention relates to a clip (10) for fastening a car seat cover onto a car seat, characterised by: a head means (11) comprising a U-shaped holder (11a) with a gripping means (11b) at each end to receive and grasp a car seat cover; and an insertion element (13) having a tip end, connected to the head means (11) via a midpoint element (12), to be embedded in the car seat for fastening the car seat cover; characterised in that the midpoint element (12) is a truncated cone connecting the head means (11) with the insertion element (13), wherein the clip (10) is inserted to a joining of the car seat cushion.

The elastic guiding ribs (7) restore elastically and the anti-release portion (9) are engaged with the side surface of the discharge outlet clamping part (4) to prevent the fixing clamp (2) from being separated front the discharge outlet (1) after the fixing clamp (2) and the discharge outlet (1) have been assembled. The fixing clamp (2) can be transversely pushed in to be assembled with the discharge outlet (1). The fixing clamp has low requirements for assembly accuracy, and is favorable for saving cost and increasing efficiency.
