A movable umbrella base comprises a housing (1), a wheel frame (2) disposed under the bottom of the housing (1), at least three wheels (3) connected at intervals to the wheel frame (2) and located partially under the wheel frame (2), a plurality of air bags (4) located inside a space defined by the wheel frame (2) and the housing (1), and a plurality of elastic members (6) limit displacement of the wheel frame (2) and the wheels (3) from the housing (1); when the air bags (4) are inflated, the housing (1) is lifted up relative to the wheel frame (2) and the wheels (3) from the ground; when the air bags (4) are deflated, the housing (1) is lowered relative to the wheel frame (2) and the wheels (3) and contacts the ground. The umbrella base can be moved by the air bags (4), the whole operation process is easier, and it saves more time and effort.

A beach umbrella anchoring system including an anchor member container, in the form of a cylindrical beach umbrella carrying bag, for containing a weighting medium, such as sand or water, and a connector for connecting the container to a beach umbrella restraining device; and a beach umbrella restraining device comprising a flexible cable member, a releasable connector fixed to one end of the cable for releasably connecting the cable to a beach umbrella, a second releasable connector, fixed to the other end of the cable, for releasably connecting the cable member to the anchor member, and a third releasable connector, attached to the anchor member for releasably attaching to the ground. The movable base including a foot pedal to transition between the movable and fixed positions. In one example, the foot pedal operates a locking assembly, such as a plate or linkage assembly that engages with the ground in the fixed position and is raised from the ground in the movable positions.

A device for anchoring a pole for a beach parasol in sand or in sandy soil includes a buriable plate manufactured from a rigid or semi-rigid material, a sleeve intended to receive said pole, the sleeve being associated with said plate by means of a junction zone, the sleeve opening out on both sides. The sleeve includes a tubular inner wall connected to the outer wall by means of radial ribs. The radial ribs extend towards the inside of the tubular inner wall in order to come into contact with the wall constituting the pole. These projecting parts of ribs inside the tubular inner wall first facilitate the insertion of the pole by rotation in the tubular inner wall while flexing the projecting parts of thr ribs, and secondly increase the clamping of the pole in the sleeve through relatively high pressure exerted on the wall of the pole.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage devices for providing directions haptically such that sight and hearing can continue unimpeded. In one exemplary embodiment, a wearable device (such as earphones, ear rings, gloves, glasses, or other wearable objects) configured as disclosed herein receives directions to an intended destination for a user, the directions comprising a movement action and a distance to the movement action. The wearable device has multiple haptic output units and generates, through one of those units, a haptic output based on the directions. This allows the user to receive the directions through touch rather than looking at their mobile device or from audio.
