Retrofit grain dryer moisture controller
A retrofit turner and sensor unit includes, on its upper portion, a grain turner for moving grain from a central portion in the grain pathway to a defined outer space for measurement. On its lower portion, the retrofit unit includes a moisture sensor and a temperature sensor provided in a plate configuration in line with the outer wall of the grain dryer for sensing moisture and temperature of grain in the defined space. In the preferred configuration, the plate sensor includes redundancies, and is mounted on a hinged door. The retrofit unit is easily installed into an existing grain dryer with columns and continuous flow capabilities, and electrically connected with a controller/processor and a motor for metering rolls which determine grain speed through the dryer.
Portable hand converter for a motor vehicle
A portable hand converter for enabling foot-free operation of a conventional motor vehicle. An upper assembly includes a support plate enabling attachment to the steering column of a motor vehicle and a pivotally attached handle. Two adjustable action arms, pivotally connected to the handle, each include a threaded rod slideable within a hollow tube and an adjustable lock nut for adjusting the length of the action arm. A lower end of each action arm is pivotally connected to a pedal clamp assembly. The pedal clamp assemblies enable connection of the lower end of each action arm to one of the foot-operated pedals of a motor vehicle. Attaching the support plate to the steering column and the pedal clamp assemblies to the brake pedal and gas pedal respectively, and adjusting the length of the adjustable action arms enables total control of the motor vehicle by the operator's hands.
Protective apparatuses for rotary control knobs
In some embodiments, a protective apparatus for rotary control knobs may comprise a cover adapted fit over a rotary control knob; a knob cavity internal to the cover adapted to provide space for the rotary control knob to rotate about; and an access aperture located on the surface of cover member and adapted to provide limited user access to the rotary control knob. The cover member may be configured to encase or surround a control knob. The apparatus may further comprise a plate which may be integrally formed or molded to the cover and which contains a control shaft aperture adapted to receive the control shaft of a rotary control assembly. Once a control shaft is inserted through the control shaft aperture, a fastener may be secured to the control shaft over the plate, thereby securing the apparatus to the control shaft.

A method for recovering waste heat in a process for the synthesis of a chemical product, particularly ammonia, where the product is used as the working fluid of a thermodynamic cycle; the waste heat is used to increase the enthalpy content of a high-pressure liquid stream of said product (11), delivered by a synthesis section (10), thus obtaining a vapor or supercritical product stream (20), and energy is recovered by expanding said vapor or supercritical stream across at least one suitable ex-pander (13); the method is particularly suited to recover the heat content of the syngas effluent after low-temperature shift.
Tablet with interconnection features
The present invention provides tablets with interconnection features and a system of multiple tablet assemblies removably interconnected to one another. The tablets may be removably mounted to a vertical surface or positioned on a horizontal surface. Features of the present invention allow a user to remove or move one tablet from the system without disrupting or moving the other tablets.

A gas pipe ignitor for igniting a non-premixed air and fuel mixture includes a housing having an axially interior space along its length, a supply end segment, a flame end segment axially spaced from the supply end segment, and a flexible segment spaced between the supply end segment and the flame end segment. A fuel supply conduit extends axially within the housing, and the fuel supply conduit is operatively flexible with the flexible segment. An ignition conduit extends axially within the housing, and the ignition conduit is operatively flexible with the flexible segment. A detector conduit extends axially within the housing, and the detector conduit is operatively flexible with the flexible segment. An air supply conduit is operatively connected to the housing at the supply end segment and provides combustion air within the interior space.

A process and a related equipment for making ammonia make-up synthesis gas are disclosed, where: a hydrocarbon feedstock is reformed obtaining a raw ammonia make-up syngas stream; said raw syngas is purified in a cryogenic purification section refrigerated by a nitrogen-rich stream produced in an air separation unit; the nitrogen-rich stream at output of said cryogenic section is further used for adjusting the hydrogen/nitrogen ratio of the purified make-up syngas; an oxygen-rich stream is also produced in said air separation unit and is fed to the reforming section.
